Hi Everyone,

Just curious if you are all seeing really slow charging rates on the CT? Here is what I am getting vs what I get on my Y:
Mobile Charger 220V: CT= 18 mi/h Y= 27 mi/h
Wall Charger 208V: CT = 22mi/h Y= 45 mi/h

I hope there is an update to get these charge rates up....Seems weird that it is almost half of what I get in my Y.

When your charge point puts out 1Kwh of power, your CT will go up 2 miles, maybe 2.2 but your Model Y may go up 4 miles.

Your CT isn't charging slower. It just takes a lot more juice to go each mile.

The rate is the same, your dumping in 16kw at 48 amps 240. On both vehicles. The difference is CT has a much larger battery, it uses more kWh per mile.

Efficiency on those are completely different. Comparing mi/h isn’t a good comparison, what wattage are they charging at?

I noticed the same issue with my CB. Its seems as though the settings are exactly half of the rating.
Just on the mobile charger. Tesla SC are charging just fine.

The ICE comparison is filling a 10 gallon tank vs filling a 36 gallon tank; it takes longer!. Now we all understand it. No worries. This electricity stuff is pretty tricky.

Not quite.

The difference is like filling the gas tank on a Prius vs a Diesel dually. To get the same miles, it takes a LOT longer to fill the duallies tank.
The "gas mileage" of the Cybertruck is about half that of the other Teslas.
