Check your door panel lighting - mine developed cracks everywhere!!

I checked again. Unfortunately, there is no protective film. How I wish they are just left over film!

It hard for me to get a good photo of it with details needed to show the crack.

Looks like delamination.

Hate to book another service appointment but ..... hairline cracks everywhere on the door panel lighting strip. Both sides have this. SMH.

There was a heat wave in NorCal recently but the temp barely touched 95.... as an engineer who worked on reliability testing I know that's nothing for automotive parts. What's going on here Tesla??

We down to 110F in Cal Desert from 120’s
Only thing melts here on my other teslas ( S & X ) is roof rubber seal. Nothing cracking on CT so far in 6 months of the summer.

Definitely a QC problem with the LED ambient lighting supplier.

I can see Tesla eliminating this strip on lower trim levels of the Cybertruck.

Curious if newer CTs have this issue? I'd hope as they find this stuff, they change process/parts along the way.

SOP is to quote you the replacement price and then if it’s under warranty it gets zeroed out.
