Wow! That’s a lot of stuff packed into the area under the dashboard.
The doors were pulled off and used to ford a river during offroad testing. It'll buff right out.

Here's hoping for some outlets in the frunk. Perfect for charging batteries and what not. But I'm think he left them out to save on some cost and would add them in the 2nd or 3rd model year units.

Wonder if a work truck 'needs' a Swivel Screen? Or is it a case of 'best part is no part'
Frunkly speaking, l should be able to live with a fixed screen......

being a huge fan of ct and 4 years of a loyal member of this forum, i’d say it’s been 4 years and the design ends up like this is pushing me away.
i’m not the type who REALLY NEEDS A TRUCK”, but i’m disappointed by this. Parts are not mounted, rain water not directed only seal is blocking the water from getting in, no shock resistant.
i cannot imagine what if i had an accident in front. also, it’s not about frunk being huge, it’s about “able to use”.
i know ppl here basically not allow ct being said any wrong, but i wanna be real.
Yeah. I canceled one of my orders because I thought it would be forever to get the single motor if ever available. I also bought a pool for the back yard instead of waiting for years to receive the truck.

A $100 pool?

A low reservation, even a single-motor, will probably be asked if they want to trade up. They did that with the Model 3/Y.

It will be one of the first things I change if it doesn't swivel. Not a big issue on our 3, but we have stalks. If the screen is how I'll shift (especially backing up while towing) I'll want the screen as close to me as possible so I can quickly change between Drive and Reverse.

edit: I have short arms, lol

A friend in high school had a Porsche 914, and his girlfriend called it a frunk. I graduated HS in 1980.

For what it's worth, the 914 front trunk was really big for the size of the car.
Exactly I still had a car in college and I had a lot of problems with it, some times I even had to go to https://essays.edubirdie.com/write-my-dissertation to do my dissertation, because I had to go to another city to the dealer to do maintenance, it really takes a lot of time and I really think that for college students the car is not a necessity but an abuse.

914+1980+46 (the amount of sandwiches I eat in a week) =2940 divided 7 days in a week=420. How does he do it?!?!?! ELON!
