I don't understand this "twisting your head" to see your speed. It's in big numerals about an inch above the 2 o'clock position of the steering wheel, no head twisting is necessary, nor do I recommend rotating your head. Just glance at it and back to the road. It's easier than glancing down between the steering wheel and back to the road.Your logic and experience are sound, but I hate twisting my head to look at the display just to find out how fast/slow I am driving, what time it is, what the temperature outside is. These things I really want right in front of me. I hate it when the steering wheel gets in the way of anything I need to see so I agree with you on that - I just wish Tesla would do something to make seeing some essential information easier.
I own a Model Y and drive it most every day, and I can assure you that I am looking to the right (and not at the road) to see anything on that screen. It is one of my only issues with the car. I would love to have that problem go away. In fact, Tesla assumes that you are either looking at the monitor or have memorized all of its different sounds (which I have not) because all warnings are visual and audible. I have no idea what it is telling me a good portion of the time as I am busy doing my job as driver. Maybe we are just different sizes and that is why it isn't an issue for you.I don't understand this "twisting your head" to see your speed. This is no different than the best selling car or truck in the world, ICE or electric, the Model Y.
So far it's just speculation, I'm pretty sure Tesla has never said Cybertruck gets a Sensify braking system. It would be nice, but at this point, Tesla has never said that.CT is supposed to use Brembo's new braking system, hydraulic with no master cylinder. Let me see if I can find the article or video. Its supposed to be superior and to standard brakes.
Sadly I have to agree. @ConnectingODots made a strong case for Tesla to use Brembo Sensify, partly because of performance, partly because it would simplify manufacturing, partly because it is a more modular solution, and partly because it follows the ‘technology bandwagon’ concept, but Tesla never said ‘boo’ about it. Recent photos make it clear that Tesla is still using hydraulics. So far it's just speculation, I'm pretty sure Tesla has never said Cybertruck gets a Sensify braking system. 'No Mans' LANDING STRIP .If something goes up there. I'm never getting it. Too far.

For what it's worth.... When my Corvette's steering wheel is properly adjusted for my driving position, that comfortable, fat little wheel obscures enough of my instrument cluster that it's annoying. The car has a good perfectly useful heads up display on the windshield, but for some reason I don't use it as much as could.Your logic and experience are sound, but I hate twisting my head to look at the display just to find out how fast/slow I am driving, what time it is, what the temperature outside is. I'm pretty sure most heavy pickups - 2500/3500 series, for example - don't have Brembro brakes. I'm not worrying very much about brakes at this point.please elaborate, didn't go with Brembo? Didn't license the design either? Please share cause with heavy vehicles of this nature braking is a concern.... for me anyway.
One thing you may have missed is that the 2019 Concept (top pic) has a higher side window sill, with the front "point" of the windows at about the middle of the wheel flare. The betas reduced the sill height and the point is closer to the front of the flare now. So is the lower edge of the windscreen, because it'd look strange to have that out of sync.I don't see that. One is taken from a slightly farther to the left position as can be seen by staring at the B-pillar.
Clearly the shortening of the overall truck length removed space from the frunk.
I look from the horizontal front corner joint.

Since the BAW is about a meter long the required torque would be NM (newton meters) a newton is about the force of the weight of an apple (newton=apple=easy to remember). So guess how many newtons at the tip of the blade the BAW requires? 4N? 10N? Since work has time included and the internet calculator used RPM I plugged in 60 RPM and got 0.08 hp with 10NM.At least a 2hp motor to power this "Schwartz"![]()

Actually, I spend much more time looking at my phone's little display - mounted in the middle of my dash - for navigation than looking at any of my cars' instrument panels. I'll be more than happy to be able use CarPlay or the equivalent to see Navigation displays on that big center screen. If for some reason I find I just have to have some display in front of me I'll install some type of aftermarket display on the dash or steering column.
So for your MY, take a look at this. They have 3 different sizes and capabilities. I saw a YT video that the install took less than 30 mins for the one that replaces part of the console. One or two of them have Apple CarPlay so you can really customize it.I own a Model Y and drive it most every day, and I can assure you that I am looking to the right (and not at the road) to see anything on that screen. What a mess! Hope production isn't this messy. What the heck is a portable generator doing in the frunk? This definitely looks like an abused early model. What happened to the doors?VIN 7G2CEHED3PAR00602
