I received the message that I would get complimentary supercharging while my parts are ordered. I asked if there was a way to confirm since I'm still seeing a session charge on the truck. Support said I wouldn't be billed but I have been. I sent the charging invoice and cc statement to my service center who is looking into it but my question for anyone else in this situation is did you see free supercharging added to your trucks specs or anything like that? Is there a way to tell it's been granted?

In your app, on the home page scroll all the way down to specs and warranty, click that, it will say in there if it’s pay as you go or free. It takes a few days for the app to update to free charging.

you also may have gone to a supercharger at a business instead of a tesla supercharger. they are doing that now, and free supercharging doesnt work at those places. theres a nav setting to filter those out.

these “third party” superchargers look like acutal tesla ones (meaning not evgo or chargepoint) so its easy to get confused.

WIth that, you will see the price per kWH, but it will never move above $0.00 as you charge, if it is actually free. Without that, I'd assume the worst.

I have the PCS failure & free Supercharging right now. Don't know if it has anything to do with the failure, but I tried a 3rd party (IONNA) charger (NACS) and no stalls worked for me. A CT had charged there successfully a few weeks ago, so that makes me think that it may have something to do with the PCS issue.

Does your Tesla app show free super charging under Specs & Warranty?

Tesla got back to me. They said the message they sent about complementary super charging was in error and they can't refund past charging :( . To make up for it, they will grant 1 week of free charging. I've asked for a start/end date so I know when to use it but it seems no one can say. Service said they put in a request and another team does it. They suggested just checking the app to see when it appears. I just want to be sure I know what I'm looking for?
