My second guess after $64,990. Up by $10,000 from current price. Matches the old RWD price, but with better features (including dual motors, AWD, tonneau cover, bed outlets). It can't go any higher though. My money's on $69,990
Some knucklehead named "Elon", said Tesla's original mission was "acclerating the transition to sustainable energy"I don't see why they would change the premium AWD or Cyberbeast prices. At least not now.
People buying the 60k truck weren't buyers for the other ones anyways. What good does that do. They have a ton of orders for the 60k truck cause it was a deal. Lowering the other ones would just piss off people who ordered those instead.
If tesla wants to sell the premium AWD, they can't have an almost identical truck selling for much less. It would absolutely kill AWD premium sales and the lower priced AWD will already have sales slanted towards it to begin with. Too much of a price difference will have very few takers of the premium.I don't see why they would change the premium AWD or Cyberbeast prices. At least not now.

I'm just curious how's anyone saying it's in big demand without actual order or deposit numbers? Was this posted somewhere and I missed it?On the forum silly![]()
They will reduce the price of the other models so more people can afford them, and thus they will sell more of them. It's quite simple.I don't see why they would change the premium AWD or Cyberbeast prices. At least not now.

Why did they not do that for the S and X?They will reduce the price of the other models so more people can afford them, and thus they will sell more of them. It's quite simple.
The S & X where NEVER designed to be mass produced, the Cybertruck WAS, from the very begining. Why did they not do that for the S and X?
To my knowledge Tesla has not reported any actual figures for sales or demand. However the community(forums, YouTube, Facebook, etc) have had a very positive view and uptick in content and traffic. Earlier today Tesla posted on their website the hard date after Feb. 28th that prices will increase for this model. The delivery date jumped from June 2026, to Sept./Oct. 2026 in 4 days time. They have also excluded the new base AWD from the $1,000 referral discount in the last couple of hours. Combined these all seem to indicate a large demand. All speculation of course but it seems to add up.I'm just curious how's anyone saying it's in big demand without actual order or deposit numbers? Was this posted somewhere and I missed it?
Makes sense, except for why they took this long to make an actual effort to boost sales. The S & X where NEVER designed to be mass produced, the Cybertruck WAS, from the very begining.
Fremont is a vastly different factory from Giga Texas... S & X where always low volume, high priced vehicles, which was required in the early years of Tesla to bootstrap the company.
They did, repeatedly. S-LR was 96k in '18, 79k by '20. S-Plaid launched at 135k and had the price slashed to under 99k a couple years later. That particular price drop had early Plaid buyers fuming. Why did they not do that for the S and X?
Think of Tesla's like Game Consoles. They launch with bleeding edge technology, and sell to wealthy people at a high price in smaller numbers. As the tech matures, costs come down and they introduce cheaper variants to sell to the mass market. It's not about effort, the vehicle was just too costly to produce. Stainless steel manufacturing was harder than expected, and more importantly the 4680 cells had some serious challenges ramping up. Like the Model S Plaid, we're a couple years in so they've mostly exhausted the buyers who wanted "the latest thing" and need to find customers that need to evaluate their purchases more carefully. At the same time, their production techniques are polished now, and by many reports the battery production is much improved and less costly. So time for the price drop and/or a new model with something added, such as a longer range version.Makes sense, except for why they took this long to make an actual effort to boost sales.
