Anyone else having issues with internet connectivity in their CyberTruck? I would say 30-40% of the time when I get into the vehicle I’m unable to connect to Podcasts or Music due to a loading error. Sometimes it self corrects and it will regain connectivity 10-15 mins later. Other times I have to park and exit the vehicle and then get back in and it usually works at that point. Not sure if this is an internet connectivity issue in my area or if others are having similar issues.

I get a loading error on YouTube Music but it's also happened in other apps. I've brought this up in several services visits but they can't replicate it. I notice it mostly when transitioning from WIFI to cellular. I have found if I open the Tesla app on my phone, I can just hit play on the phone and it plays but there is no option on the screen to hit play. On the screen you have to go back into the app and select another playlist or song.

This issue only happens when I leave my house (to my knowledge) and when the car is in my driveway it’s connected via WIFI but when I leave it is no longer connected to my home WIFI. I’m wondering if that switch is causing the problem. What is strange is that it will only re-connect again some of the times. Other times I have to turn the vehicle off and get back in to get the connection.

That problem was greatly reduced for me when I switched off "Remain Connected In Drive" under the wifi settings. I think it tries for a long time to stay on the wifi network (at your house) before pulling data from cellular if you have that option on. For me, the switch over to cellular happens much faster now.

I have the same issue when im at my house or using grok, before i leave and when i arrive. Interestingly enough, on arrival to the house, it only loses connection when i put the vehicle in park. It must be an issue with using these services over wifi.

I've had this issue for a very long time. The vehicle is connected to Wi-Fi while in my garage - it can update, I can manually type in addresses to the navigation, music streams, etc - but voice command don't work 90% of the time. I press the button, start speaking a navigation destination, no words show on the voice command display and nothing happens.

I have to drive down the driveway, then it works.

But then I get a few of blocks away and music streaming fails with a "Network connection error" - I suspect a flaw in the Wi-Fi to mobile handoff. That happens 100% of the time, usually about 3 blocks from home (it seems there's a bit of buffer in the stream).

I hit YouTube music and can immediately start up the music again, but on shuffle, wherever I was in the playlist is gone, and that song I was just getting really into is lost.

I had the same issue. Like Mal switched off "Remain Connected In Drive" and I don't have this issue as much anymore.

Thanks for bringing this up. Yup, same issue, although only occasionally. Can take a while to resolve (e.g. I've gone entire trip into town with that message)

Yeah, we've been having the same problem in both the CT and MY... Keeps giving a "Navigating without connection" message when first starting out... Can take up to 10 minutes or more before it 'connects' again using the LTE in the vehicle (really wish it was 5G, but I know LTE is fine for what it's being used for) and then your 'arrival time' can change pretty dramatically!! My trips from work to home (44 miles one way) the time went from 55 minutes when I left to 1 hr 22 minutes when it was finally 'connected'... Of course by then I usually can't choose a different (faster) route...
