Supercharger rates in my area are $.41/kWh.

So, theoretically, a 0-100% charge would cost $50.43.

What’s the same theoretical 0-100% charge cost when done at home?

Are the various rider charges constant/fixed, and therefore not part of the calculation?

I have to be missing something - it can’t be $0.039693 x 123, since that would only be $4.88.

Don’t judge
I’m new to EVs and my brain is tiny.

Total cost divided by total usage times kw used. So looks like around 16 cents per Kw for you or around $20 for full charge.

Compare your monthly bills to get an average cost and see what the fixed costs are.

Man, those delivery riders are brutal at Duke energy. These energy companies love disguise fix cost into ““ riders so they can build in more profit without disclosur.

Here in Atlanta I also have .04 cents rate for off hour charging 11 PM to 7 AM. But I do not have the riders and such. Adding the general fees, such as basic management fee and Tax ends up to being about .08 per kw. That is about 1/8 of supercharger rate here And super cheap.

Total of $225.03 (including tax) / 1509.635 = $0.149, no?

Are all the other charges (other than the $.039693) proportional to usage?

Are any of those other charges fixed regardless of usage? and therefore not a “real” part of the charging costs?

So, literally, under $10.00 to charge 0-100%

*If* the delivery rider is a fixed amount, it looks like incremental usage is $0.11/kWh (post another month's bill to see). Otherwise, around 15 cents.
For comparison, our DTE rate in Michigan is $0.19/kWh

My rate is $0.11/kWh so $13.53 for a “full tank.” Yet another reason EVs are awesome.

Dingus me

Didn’t dawn on me to check previous bills to see what’s fixed/related to usage.

Prior bill:

The $8.00 distribution is the only fixed charge, so I’m at approximately $0.14/kWh.

Great, now I have kWh envy @OUTLAW

EV saving is not just saving in juice but much more than that-in my city the non peak hour is from 9 PM to 5 PM and it's 0.07c KWH. I also have bragging rights for skipping dealership/stealership, oil change, emission test, auto parts and the notorious: Gas station.
