I often charge my M3 from CT and I used to get 25 mi/hr . I installed the latest SW update and now it's charging at only 6A. Any idea why?

Is the 14-50 adapter fully seated into the mobile connector?
Model 3 display shows 6/6 and around 240V ?

Not quite the same situation but my mobile connector, specifically the NEMA-1450 was actually bad from the factory. I couldn't figure out why I could only get 6A at our cabin, thought the wiring at the cabin was bad, but then tried it at a friends and the same 6A was all it would do. Swapped out the nema-1450 adapter with his and everything worked. So maybe something can fail in those adaptors or maybe the tolerances are off a little and it won't ramp up to the higher amps?

Cybertruck update shouldn't impact the current limit advertised from the Mobile Connector (the yy in xx/yy). I think that's a red herring.
