Yes, good chunck of the fleet are still on 2024.20.9. Do you have advanced updates turned on under software. That speeds up the updates. But since we have not seen 2024.26.5 installed with fsd on any cars yet, i would not rush to get to 2024.26 until then.
Oh, yeah...Advanced has been turned on since the git-go. I am not so concerned about FSD but simple AutoPilot and associated alarms and guards would be appreciated. My wife's 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has more active traffic alarming than my new, and loved, Beast. I would sincerely love to take a road trip but I am waiting for improvements over stick-in-the-throat cruise control. This wish is not enough to turn me off, I just am looking forward to the long-haul improvement.

Is there any way to get the truck to try to update since I kept dismissing the update notice?

how long?
It's my understanding that you can initiate a software update check once every 24 hours. Go to the software section on your CT, scroll down, and it'll check for an update. If Tesla has one for you, it'll show up.

RIght, but if it's not ready for them, it won't pull with that request.

On waiting, it could be hours...could be weeks.

Weird mine showed as update ready in the app then it dissappeared. Nothing to install app or screen.
Same thing happened to me. I started to update it but did some research to see what version the current FSD was running on. Decided to go ahead and update and it was no longer an option. Total of 5 minutes from seeing it available, doing a quick search, getting impatient and deciding to update. I'm guessing there must have either been an issue with the update or the push to my truck was accidental

Good to know, thanks. I waSn't sure if my ct wasn't updating. I like updates and I like CT more. Updates for me is like a gift no matter how small. On this update, I can't wait till YouTube Music on display

Ok everyone, I stopped at tesla service and asked them about 2024.26.-- I told them y story and a tech just happened to walk by and he remembered me and started looking into my question. They all said that tesla probably withdrew the update because they found a quirk/issue/problem. So, I asked when it would be available and they said they don't know, and I should not hold my breath but then they said about 8/30, which I found weird...So I am not holding my breath until the evening of the 29th.

Service Centers don't know about software update schedules. 8/30 is just something random that someone said. 2024.26.3.1 is actively going out right now. When it's time for your truck to get it, you will.
