I'd say most of the attention the Cybertruck gets is positive in real life unlike the online threads on Facebook and X, which are highly negative. I have, however, gotten flipped off a number of times mostly by young 20 something men (I use that term "men" lightly with this age group) while just driving my Truck. This is my first Tesla so I don't know what attention may be like in another Tesla. Has anyone experienced hate and middle fingers from the general public while driving their Non-Cybertruck Teslas? Is this a Cybertruck specific phenomenon or general for Tesla?

Certainly gets a lot of attention. All positive so far. Lots of thumbs up and people taking videos or asking for photos with the truck.

Mostly positive, with a lot of people asking what it is.

I had a lot of folks tapping and hitting the stainless steel, peeking inside leaving oil and fingerprints on the glass and taking pictures and selfies. These were of course in my absence and the sentry usb is full of these videos.

Teenagers are the worse, deliberately trying to pry open the tonneau and press the switches and door handles.

I learned a trick however, I leave the truck at high suspension when parked in new places and most folks have difficulty peeking inside, it also looks badass.

0 attention driving model Y for a year. Lot of attention in the CT but overwhelmingly positive. Can't begin to count how many positive reactions and only 3 negative comments while I was driving by people. Might have gotten a few birds but not noticed ?

I’m my M3P peeps holler something out the window as they drive opposite directions by while I’m sitting at a red light. Never hear them bc the music is on blast added a sub to it.

and the occasional coal roll attempts. Suckers waste your diesel.

Back in 2019 model 3s were consistently getting vandalized as they became a very common sight on the road. Slashed tires, keyed doors, busted windows and mirrors, etc. MS and MX were often targeted too, but that was the year that m3 started threatening the EV/ICE status quo for the first time. People got over it, just like they got over seat belt laws, and drinking and driving laws (oh yeah! If you were around when seat belts became law, there were very angry folks calling the judges communists etc)
It's just stupid human syndrome. Fortunately, humans have short life spans and these things will fade into history as another novel example of odd things people chose to get upset about.

Gets a lot of attention, 95% positive!

Litterally had all my friend‘s neighbors come out to check out the truck when I dropped her off!

Was standing next to the truck with a friend in the In N’ Out parking lot and some teens with lifted trucks got hella triggered. One drove up to us and “tried” to do a burn out lol.

He couldn’t get the back wheels turning fast enough so he just drove away looking disheveled ??

I see nothing but smiles and thumbs up, even from exotic car drivers. Seeing the truck in real life makes their day.

98% positive, I had one person give me the middle finger. The reception has been overwhelmingly positive. People pulling out their phones, walking up to you to ask questions, kids are pointing while driving by, friends and family come over to experience.

Since wrapping and installing new wheels, all positive. Most comments are "so much better than how they come" and "only Cybertruck I've seen I like" etc etc.

I think it's the stainless steel and terrible looking stock wheels and tires that really does the truck a disservice and gives polarizing opinions.

Yep lot's of reactions overwhelmingly postive, at least the ones in parking lots I can talk to....
The haters are definitely out there, usually from the sidewalk as I'm barrelling past them....does make me wonder "WHY?"
