It's amazing that Tesla was telling people january was in the range of possible delivery dates. Stop trying to shift this onto people who were just using the information tesla gave them and assuming it wasn't a lie.



"Jan-Mar" does not mean

Jan: 0 deliveries
Feb: 0 deliveries
Mar: half of the deliveries
Apr: half of the deliveries

And there were deliveries of AWD in Jan, Feb, and Mar.

If you are talking about Beasts, then Tesla changed their mind and in Jan, were telling people later in the year.

And they are all estimates. And there are still 3 weeks left in Jan-Mar, but I'm not really expecting mine by then, hoping yes, but not expecting.

Zero orders on that day or after were delivered in Jan or Feb. someone thought there was one, but there wasn't. So it was just BS. If the delivery window had been "march-april", or even just "March", it would be a different story.

Even if there were five or fifty deliveries in Jan, how would you know?

But yes, a 'jan-mar' window means anywhere from Jan 1 to Mar 31st, which is still how many weeks away?

whatever you're talking about, I'm not sure... zero jan orders were delivered in jan and feb, that was the entirety of my point. jan 10th orders were still quoted jan-mar, as if there was ever a chance that an order on that day would be delivered in jan or feb. There was not, and they knew there was not at that time.

They are certainly making them…. But in very low quantities compared to the AWD version.

I got my vin on march 5 and look delivery on march 7th.

It's weird because they are building and delivering them, just very very slowly.

What's weird is people expecting a sales guy to have a clue what's going on at the factory for a truck that wasn't promised the for many more months.

I reserved night of and ordered 12/8. Got VIN last week and taking delivery Saturday. They offered Wednesday but could not make it. Texas. No relation to Tesla.
