Get the one you want. Being the first where you are will wear off quick and then you will see people with the beast and get jealous. The beast is worth it. I wouldn't pay the extra 20K for Foundation for AWD. The beast makes up the most cost for the foundation imo. Installation credit and light bar makes it more worth it imo plus some upgraded materials for the dash.

I know you are right, but damn the wait is so long.

Having driven the beast for the last few months, I’ll warn all of y’all about one thing. If you point it in a direction and get aggressive with the accelerator, it will go in that direction faster than you realize. I’ve toned down my driving style. I’ve almost self induced running into a few things already. Totally my fault. Be careful out there!

I ordered my beast on 12/30/2023, still no VIN yet ( I am eligible for long term shareholder but I don’t think this will help at this moment). I called my SC last week and they told me likely I can get my truck in June. This seems highly possible since 12/21 order are getting delivery now.

With such a long wait. Did you ever considered switching your order to AWD? Why?

Yeah you likely will get it in June. I am assuming mine from 1/2 gets a VIN around June 10th. I'm betting you should see your VIN in maybe 2 weeks or less unless some delivery issues happen. Where you are located also is a factor as well. I'm in Florida. I know the ones receiving theirs the quickest are California, Texas, and then Florida. Outside of that they may have additional vehicles.

1/10 order with a Houston delivery location. No VIN yet. Hopefully in mid-June then.

Speaking of speculation, I am guessing that the exponential ramp up in reservations over those first few days after the unveil will greatly exceed the manufacturing ramp up so the wait for VINs will be much longer for me (reserved 11/23/19 and configured 3/31/24) then somebody who reserved a day earlier and configured 2 months before I did.

Yea, I struggled a bit, but I really want the insane accretion and I also gave my self justification that I don’t want to have the first batch of CT.

I am in Austin, hope this helps getting my beast sooner. There are so many of them in street now!
