Is it what you hoped for? Mine isn’t due until Oct-Dec. I love hearing happy owners. I makes my wait easier knowing it’s amazing!
I absolutely love it! It’s so easy to drive. All-wheel steering and brake regen took some getting used to as it’s my first Tesla and EV. I’m used to the attention with my other cars, but I’d strongly recommend getting dark tint the day you take delivery. It simply eliminates the obligation to engage people making gestures and filming you while you’re driving. My only gripe is that it’s a performance trim, instead of the long range version initially advertised. I still got the Beast since I’ve never purchased the “top spec” of anything before.

I did drop it off on Friday for service. Just some QC issues that need to be tuned up.

In my opinion, taking delivery late in the year is a blessing in disguise. By then you’ll have better and quicker service support. I was one of the first to drop off the truck for service at my location. As friendly as they were, it was evident they were just as new to the trucks as we are. I was told by a few of them that there is currently just one “Master Tech” that works on them. So there’s that.

Are you happy you got the performance version?

Is there a way to change the delivery center? Im in PA. I'll be happy to pick it up in MD, PA, or VA, NJ.
I think it’s based on either drivers license or address used in Tesla account. My guess is that they want to ensure you take delivery at the SC nearest your permanent address. I was hoping to get mine in Texas but they went with my Virginia address.

I am! It wasn’t necessary, but the range isn’t so far off from dual motor to be a deterrent. My other cars are faster but it’s a cool party trick for friends and family. It’s also nice to have a daily-driver that can fulfill most roles somewhat competitively; truck, sports car, on-road, off-road, etc.

Ordered 1/2, VIN 4/28... this has been the hardest part of the wait!

It looks like I may be able to pick it up on 5/17, but still no confirmation. I was expecting more like a week from VIN to pickup, not 3 weeks!

I hope that day comes sooner rather than later for you. It seems many CB’s are trending approximately 4 months order to VIN. I hope that’s the case for me, but then it would be a big over deliver from the estimates Oct-Dec 24. I’m not sure what to think between trend and estimate. I’ll prepare for the wait, and if it comes sooner, it’ll be an amazing surprise!

At least you have a VIN. I confirmed on 1/2 and am still waiting in Jacksonville FL. They tell me the truck is built already but I don't have a VIN which makes no sense to me. I am hoping I can get it before the 4th of July lol

Mine said mid-late 2024 when I ordered on 1/2. I'd say mid-May is a win in that context, since that would mean they hit the absolute earliest part of that range.

I got my VIN yesterday and I'm moving money around to complete the next steps:

Location: Michigan
RN: 11278XXXX
VIN: 0094XX
Configuration Date: 12/26/23

No mention of stock owner acceleration. I'm a long time owner of 409 shares and submitted that information, but didn't expect anything because it's under the 500 share requirement.

We have a '16 Model X and '21 Model Y

The Tesla App doesn't show the VIN in replacement of the RN. I had to go into the "submit insurance" step to locate the VIN. The "complete payment" step shows the final total price.

I was notified via app and in-app messaging from a Tesla team member.

I configured my beast on 3/9 but I'm in Cheyenne, WY. I think it'll be a lot longer than 4 months here...

Looks like they are giving VINs to 12/21 orders at the moment. Took a week and a half for 12/15-12/18. I assume 12/28 around 5/27 should start then I assume around June 10th it should finally be 1/2. Writing this here just for me to reference back and see if I'm correct.

They told me mine is already built but I don't have a VIN and I ordered on 1/2. Maybe by June 10th

Delivery today.

I’ll just say this, it’ was worth the wait for me, as I have never had a truck or an electric vehicle.

there is a lot of plastic and you need to find the right products to cover that up.

Truck is blinding fast as everybody knows, but more importantly, it drives very subtle in all three modes over bumps and indulations , and the rear wheel steering is amazing In small spaces.
