Tesla Japan has announced that the Cybertruck will be on tour in Japan from Feb 6-29.

Announcement: https://www.tesla.com/ja_jp/event/1000002833

Translation:

The Cybertruck is said to be compatible with all planets, with design and performance that amazes people around the world.
Featuring an ultra-hard stainless steel exoskeleton body, armored glass, and all-terrain tires, it's durable and adaptable to all road conditions. The traction force of approximately 4,990 kg is enough to pull an African elephant. The maximum speed is 209km/h. Beast mode accelerates to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. It's stable even at high speeds, and the new steer-by-wire and rear steering provide sports car-like handling.
We will send out the latest information about Cybertruck.

Good luck with that!

I'm sure they'll soonest find out why trucks in Japan are those miniature Daihatsus and Toyopets.

Japan has trucks of all sizes, including plenty of huge semi-trucks, big box trucks, flatbeds, pickups, etc. Companies and individuals buy the truck that suits their needs.

Although sales of larger trucks has been on an uptick in Japan since the pandemic, it will never be a huge market for Cybertruck, but Tesla knows that. They are probably interested anyway since there are no import duties on American vehicles which would help keep margins strong.

Tesla is a company that looks 5-10 years forward regularly. Showing the truck in Japan (and China) doesn't detract from the Ramp. It's just looking towards future possibilities which is a smart thing to do in terms of knowing where you might be going. Stronger than anticipated demand in other markets could accelerate Cybertruck development and production methods.

Of all country, you are most deserving of Cybertruck.

I don't know why Elon keeps on ignoring and by-passing you.

Maybe you can change your driving protocol to left-hand drive and as a stockholder I can write a note of support. :p
