Just an update, I did pick up my AWD in Princeton today. It was in great shape and it was so much fun to drive home.

I noticed 3 other trucks waiting for delivery so hopefully some of you will be getting your trucks soon.

Just the containment hold. They haven’t received the parts at the Mesa, Arizona delivery center yet.

Today was the first delivery communication I have had. So it seems if there was a problem, they would have just waited for contact. The earliest delivery options I was given started at 10:30 Am for Tuesday. I selected after lunch.

I picked mine up yesterday from the Jax SC (VIN 14500s). It was surprisingly easy and smooth. The truck looks great overall. They polished out a few scuffs with BKF in front of me (after trying Windex and some citrus cleaner first). They also offered to clean/detail anything I noticed that wasn't perfect right then and there. The detailer was following me around the truck for a bit while I was inspecting it. It was very clean, and the panels looked great after they fixed the scuffs. A weird thing is going on with the bed seals (slightly sticking up at the ends), but they will fix it post-delivery and it wasn't leaking after a heavy rain yesterday. Very professional and friendly experience overall! The wiper also works perfectly, lol.

@DarkEye They didn't know how to answer your request confidently. They said you can submit a service request or show up and talk to them about it in person (that's what I'd do). I think they'd be cool with it if you picked an off-time during the week and just swung by.

Merritt Island, Florida Tesla dealer told me last Tuesday, June 18, that there is a problem with the CT windshield wiper motors, and that they have stopped deliveries of CT until they can get the motors replaced. Anyone else hear this?

still going. yes. I posted this online hoping it would get some likes and tesla would see it and then I saw that the windshield wiper causes a fire and could be a safety recall ... hoping it will get fixed this time around

I picked up my CT Saturday. SC gave me their last wiper motor. They were hoping for more motors this week. My problem is, the lower 8-10 inches of windshield is not cleared by the blade. Of course, it's right in my sight line. Service appointment middle of next month. Rain X til then.
