Just picked my AWD up this afternoon and I haven’t been able to stop driving it! What a bad ass vehicle!! It is a little odd when people still stare and take pictures but I hope that slows down a bit once more of the CT’s start making their way to owners. The rivet on the accelerator pedal is a non issue for me as you can hardly see it. Can’t wait to hit the road again tomorrow in South Florida and put some more miles on this thing.

Congrats!
I was told today that there was a hold placed on all CB’s as of last night. Trucks been sitting there for almost 2 weeks. Pedals fixed. I don’t know what to believe when they tell me something anymore.

Ya that’s what I was thinking too. It’s the 3rd excuse they’ve given me. That was the info the SC manager gave me today at the store. I’m going to give it til Monday, I’ve had a vin since 3/31

Glad you got your truck and hope you love it. I am waiting on my sc to get the jig and same issue may be at play. My truck is on the lot and I've inspected exterior...I would have brought a stack of dollar bills if I'd have known such a tease would occur.

I am anxiously awaiting the responses to your post almost as much as getting my truck.

Which SC are you picking up at? I know St. Pete and Tampa have the jig. I told the service manager that I wanted my truck transported to one of those SC’s and that I’d pay the transport fee (they let you do this on inventory Teslas). This is what triggered him to look further into the parts delay to discover that the jig was never ordered even though his screen said it was. The parts guy was able to get the regional manager involved and overnighted the jig.

Fort Lauderdale. The truck was cleaned very well and was delivered fast. My appointment was 5:45 and by 6:00pm I was on my way home.

Hey, I see that you took delivery in the Wexford area, I am in that area as well. What delivery center did they finally end up assigning you? Was it the Pittsburgh-Presto one in Bridgeville, PA?

yes Presto/ Bridgeville as a matter of fact I’m suppose to pickup today. Tesla told me that they replaced the whole pedal assembly so no rivet.

Maybe that’s an issue for more than one SC. I am going to contact my SC tomorrow to make sure it is actually being delivered. This is a long pause. It can’t take that long to 3D print something and send it out. It’s not making sense.
