It is starting to look like the Dual Motor is on the road though.

I'm really starting to think the Dual Motor is going to be the $70K to $80k range.
Tri-motor comes later in the low $90's.

Musk came out and said he felt the F-150 was priced a "little high priced" Their "Lariat" which is the dual motor AWD (not top of the line) - with similar spec expectations (mileage and power to the dual motor CT expectations - 300miles, 0-60 in 4.5) and some pretty basic upgrades (mostly stuff expected to come with the CT) gets you over $80

I know this because I almost bought one (had an early reservation there too) and had a chance to order - Went to the Ford dealership, in spoke to the guys, sat in the Lightning etc... but I decided at that price point I'll wait out the CT (I put in my reservation the night of the launch event)

Ford's cheapest "extended range" (which is 320 miles) is $69k.

I would suggest having some fun and go build a Lightning - see where the prices are for a similar car to the dual motor expectations. Tesla isn't coming in way below Ford. It will be slightly less...
I would expect the base dual motor to come in at $69 and get over that with a few minor upgrades..

100% this ^^^ A $79k price for a tri/quad motor with over 400 miles of range = IMO a very compelling proposition. Over 450 is awesome. ~350 is meh.

Tri motor was announced initially to have 520 mile range.
