If Tesla regards this stamped 'A' Arm good enough, then l'm comfortable with taking the CT into the extreme interior of Australia. As depicted in this image, it should provide for predictable vertical travel of the suspension components, where the upper and lower arms result in a geometry that remains constant throughout wheel rise and fall, so you'd have to really be pushing it to bend or break the unit. Just my five cents worth! This post reminded me of the original off road incident. Know this hasn’t been an issue since public release in November, couldn’t even find a past story on Google? Anyone who has received their CT report any other issues with the A-Arms tearing, or breaking?
Sure does look like thin stamped steal for as much weight this thing supports.
