How much do you imagine it would weigh that it would have any noticeable effect?
🤷🏻‍♂️

350?

But that, behind the rear wheels.

outsized effect on true available net payload after options “at the door sticker”

in fact, relatedly: have folks been posting any of their true available net payloads of CBs as optioned?

That sounds rather high, I'd expect closer to half that. Remember this is not for high powered fast charging. Need not be behind the rear wheels either since it's a relatively thin profile.

OK, I'm convinced of the location, but not the weight. Hopefully it's closer to 100lbs.

Inductive charging is so useless, all it does is generate heat and waste energy, no, thanks it's literally 2 steps to plug in your car people this is not needed. maybe if they put it on the HOV lane or something then it makes more sense.
I disagree sir.
If they can figure this out, it will be HUGE -

Think Robotaxi where it can drive on its own somewhere, CHARGE on its own, then drive away...

NEVER say never, sir.
DOJO is banging, and Elon's latest move to offer FSD for a month is internal confidence...

Or desperation...
The greatest innovators are the ones who behave in desperation, because they are the few who realize the urgency.

and its not about money.

Then why is he charging a ridiculously high price for something that's not even close to fully functional and wouldn't be worth that much even if it were? It's about the money.

I’m not sure how special this is.
I do know that physically plugging in my cell phone to a charger charges my phone faster than wireless charging.
What am I missing? Outside the convenience factor, of course.

1. They are offering 12.3.6 as a trial. I'm not sure if that's because the newer builds aren't tracking as well or what, but that's the same version as the last 30 day trial.
2. They are using Nvidia much more than DOJO. As Elon said, DOJO is a long term play that may not flesh out, but they keep buying Nvidia chips as much as they can for FSD.
