That would raise an interesting question.

If Tesla makes the Luxe Package mandatory on AWDs, do they add $10,000 to the price -- like they did with the S and X-- and raise the AWD starting price to $89,990 ?

Or do they add $15,000 to the price -- like they did with the Cyberbeast -- and raise the AWD starting price to $94,990 ?

Don't know why the Cyberbeast Luxe Package is $5,000 more that the S or X Luxe Package. Maybe Windshield Protection costs a lot more on Cyberbeasts ? Cyberbeasts consume more energy during free Supercharging sessions ?
My 17MS 75D is about 33% more efficient than my 24CT-AWD. So, I can imagine the free supercharging could account for a bit of that increase.

Tesla is constantly monitoring Internet orders and they are always playing with the demand lever.

Q4 sales should slow from Q3 so I expect numerous incentives will be thrown at their entire vehicle portfolio.

Sounds like something we’d hear a Tesla spokesperson to say on CNBC. 🤣

They already had the 699 lease offer in September and then raised it to 749 after the 30th. Now we’re back to 699 again….temporarily.
Just remember, in September, Tesla got the $7500 tax credit. Now, that's gone and they're still offering the same lease cost to the buyer. That implies they are eating the $7500 in some form. I've pointed out above that the notes spec a $6500 lease credit; presumably a Cap Cost Reduction. Then, the remaining difference is hidden in either a higher residual value, or a lower money factor.

Personally, I think the Model 3-RWD and the CT-AWD are amazing lease offers.

So, the differenc in MSRP between AWD and CB is 47% but the difference in Lease amount is 147%.

Good catch.

However the main page literally says "Prices Increase in November" so is that back to the $749, or does luxe goes onto AWD and bring it somewhat closer to Cyberbeast...
Now it says November 4th for the price increase
