The wind noise indicates it needs to be recalibrated at the dealership. Same happened to me.You should add a poll to this post to get accurate input.
I bought a Foundation Cyberbeast made in August 2024 (VIN 26###). Picked it up in September 2024. Since then, I've put over 10,000 miles on it, driving from Michigan to the Gulf of America, and over to the Atlantic Ocean, and back. I've even taken it into Canada and survived. It's been 99.9% reliable.
3 minor Issues:
1) I noticed a small <1mm bubble inside my front windshield after picking it up that caught the light in certain conditions. I mentioned it to them and Tesla replaced the entire windshield!
2) In winter months, the back passenger door would leak air slightly when driving > 75MPH. If I rolled the window down slightly, it would seal up. Now that the weather has warmed up, no more leaking air.
3) I get a bit of water in the truck bed after I take it through car washes. Not much, just a bit near the tailgate. I simply open the tailgate after and wipe it down.
The above are the only issues I have experienced in 10,000 miles. It's been very reliable. It powered my home in a blackout for several hours via the Powershare Home Backup panel. FSD has been a gamechanger (although the last couple updates have seemed to be a downgrade in accuracy). My wife says it drives better than I do.
Very happy with my purchase!!!
Hi All,
This thread is directed to all the Cybertruck owners (in particular, owners of more recent builds in the last few months).
I'm at a point where I will be buying a new vehicle in the next few months. For the last year, I had no doubt that it'd be the Cybertruck. But lately, I've started to get a bit worried about the reliability of the truck. This will be my only vehicle. I would drive it everywhere and everyday. Although I (desperately!!!) want this truck, I can't buy something that's going to be in the service center every few months for weeks at a time. And I also see reports of the vehicle just randomly getting bricked for silly things and having to get towed all the time.
I knew that since this was a new vehicle, it was perfectly reasonable for there to be quite a few issues that would need to be ironed out after the vehicle release. But now we are almost two years in and it doesn't seem the issues are ironed out enough. Of course when you research it on the news, everyone likes to exaggerate how the cybertruck never works. However, they are all biased so who knows how much those can really be trusted. But even in here where the bias is probably in the other direction, I see quite a few reports from owners saying they are randomly not working, etc. My hope is that maybe 10% of Cybertrucks have issues but 90% of them work perfectly fine and are just as reliable as Tesla's other vehicles.
So my question for Cybertruck owners (particularly ones with newer builds where the issues might be less common):
>>>> Is the Cybertruck reliable or are you constantly having to take this thing in for service and constantly having issues where it doesn't work? If you were speaking to a potential owner (me) whose priority is an electric vehicle that is reliable, would you recommend the Cybertruck?
Again, I desperately want the Cybertruck. But I worried that's my emotions speaking and not by brain. And perhaps I should just go for the performance version of the new Model Y whenever that version is released..... because it's reliable.

Like others, I have had no problems at all with reliability. I have had to go to the shop rarely- once I tore off part of the plastic trim, so it was just cosmetic, and once to pick up my CyberTent. It has been a great vehicle and everything works.Hi All,

I have my CT for a year now and I’ve never been to the SC once for any issues other than the recall and the tire rotation. Pretty reliable truck.Hi All,

So as far as people having trouble with their cyber truck keep in mind people aren't going to post when it's perfect unless somebody asks I have a 2018 model spd100 it's been in service twice once per air conditioning compressor under warranty and second for a computer module upgrade other than that nothing. My cybertruck I've had since June so I may not be a good example except for the fact that it's never been in for serviceHi All,
