...pieces that are clipped or glued on it makes me realize the Exoskeleton is just a thing of the past.
What did you imagine the exoskeleton was made of?

I just don't understand.

Even crabs are just glued together.

Lol here we go again with people not knowing how words are meant to work.

So many are now saying the "exoskeleton" wasn't what they expected it to be.

The problem is that some people still "expect" it to be something it never was meant to be, mostly because they didn't understand the context and use of the words in the first place, and made up a bunch of stuff they now have to publicly defend as to not loose face.

That phone number 925-918.7903 must have been flooded with calls about that silvery thing in the parking lot.

And yet, those who think it's not one never explain why, other than it's not a hollow egg.

You not understanding how it is, or how it was originally designed to be, or what I say to describe it, doesn't form proof to the contrary.

It just means you don't have the capacity to consider yourself incorrect and learn. Chucking crabs and calling things what they are not, is your forte, that's for sure.

Words have meaning for a reason, and that is so most of us can agree on the terminology and use it accordingly so that we can understand eachother. It's understanding by consent.

Mis-using terms is just a form of cognitive dissonance that tries to disrupt the perception of the natural order of real things.

Some have an addiction to believing the wrong things because they beleive they are associated when they are not. Because they can't correlate their own actions with reality, as they try to justify their actions by changing their beleifs instead, and associate themselves so their veiws get supported.

As it is above diagram, not quiting smoking, because you think it's not proven either way yet, does not mean that smoking isn't harmful. It just means you just choose to not beleive it so you can justify the behavior.

An exoskeleton has it in the name. You can make a new name if you want, buy don't use labels for things that aren't so, otherwise we end up with lots of stuff that doesn't mean much, if anything at all.

Solar still an option?
Highly unlikely but still possible.

It would only be used to compensate for parasitic draw while parked and not add any meaningful range.

to be fair measuring flare to flare would be pretty unworkable with a tape

would need two plumb-bobs (two people to hold string at each flare), then a tape on the ground running from bob to bob

so come on, people! Start carrying a tape and two plumb bobs and a buddy!
If you used chickens they would do their own bobbing. No buddy required.

Solar... It'd be nice if, at the least, Tesla would make a way to connect solar panels so those of us who want to can do so.
