In September, the Tesla Cybertruck average transaction price (ATP) rose to $116,706, the highest point since launch, according to Kelley Blue Book data released today.

And yet, even with sky-high prices, EV industry leader Tesla sold more than 5,000 Cybertrucks in September.

The ATP for a new Tesla declined in September compared to August but was higher year-over-year by 13.6% at $58,212. ATPs for Tesla’s core volume models – the Model 3 and Model Y – were lower month-over-month in September.

Interesting all the negativity in other websites and forums and stuff.

The Cybertruck is such a magnificent invention.

It’s unfortunate the times, people can’t rejoice about anything.

That’s bc they released the beast. Finally got mine 9/11.
They released the beast many months ago. Actually there really wasn't an unreleased period. There were a lot waiting delivery when I picked my AWD in April.

But the mix did seem to change.

Yea I’m with ya, the one off beasts will call it to say 500? awd isn’t really a release imo, just a few test subjects. When I picked up my beast the whole lot was full of beast delivery’s.

It doesn't look like it's slowed down. From recalls: (not my work)

27,185 from 11/13/23 - 9/14/24
That's 15,497 in 14.3 weeks from 6/6 to 9/14 = 1085/week
That means we've been stuck at about a thousand a week since May, tho.

Manufacturing is hard.

Telsa hit 1400 for a week in June, but like all Gigafactories, they typically scale down based on shipping, orders/demand, etc.
