I can’t speak for other Teslas but I can say when compared to my Sierra Denali, the Cyberbeast is not as smooth but that’s not to say the ride is great. It’s still an incredibly smooth ride and I have no complaints whatsoever.

I've done several road trips and the overall ride, suspension, etc are amazing. Full disclosure, I do prefer my model Y seat, but there should be an asterix on that that I am 6'4 and 300lbs. Likley for the average person I'm betting they prefer the CT seat. Seat adjustment options and range of adjustments are excellent for a taller individual.
I agree 💯. I’m 6’4 and 220 pounds. The Cybertruck seats were not made for us wider guys. That’s my only complaint with it. If you’re not a smaller person, you end up sitting on top of the seat side bolsters. On a long trip it gets pretty uncomfortable. I’m looking for a seat cushion to raise the seat bottom enough to take pressure off of my ass from the bolsters lol. I have no idea who they had in mind when deciding how wide those seats were gonna be and I agree the Model Y seats are more comfortable.

I just did a test drive today. The ride was smooth. It's definitely smoother than my 18 Colorado and my 22 MY. I may have been a little biased as I was super excited to drive the truck. The real opinion came from a designated passenger for whom I normally chauffer to her errands to lift heavy things. She was extremely interested in her passenger experience for my soon to be truck. No complaints from her. She said it felt like a car with truck benefits. My son also fell asleep in his car seat, so the ride was smooth enough for him. I need a little more time to have a full opinion. I'm more excited for the truck now. The interior was great to me. Way better than the pictures. It has a premium feel. I won't say a luxury feel, but more than enough for me. I'm just waiting for my Aug - Sept delivery. May do a few more test drives to get my fix.

How does the CT ride comfort compare to the model X and Y that has air suspension? or any other expensive luxury cars or trucks? I hear that it is. Looking into the future, when FSD is approved or even just the next level of autonomy I can picture that road trip travel will change. Here is why, take for instance a 250 mile trip Houston to Dallas can be done by flying or automobile or luxury bus. We have made that trip many times and always chose to drive because of the inconvenience airport parking, lines, and you need a car when you get there. There is virtually no difference in time to get there. The luxury bus was chosen by other family members and that option was praised by the ability to work or relax and snacks and beverages were served. For them there was someone on either end to drop off and pick-up. So, I'm visioning that a comfortable spacious cybertruck with autonomy to be the best solution for all three options above. The only hitch in this scenario is the charging. Cybertruck with a 123 KwHr battery will take longer to charge our model Y that was complained about on our trips. Hopefully a battery that can fast charge from 20% to 80 or 90% is just around the corner. That just might be worth the wait for the NON FS version. Never the less we will have to put up with the perception of "that ugly thing" by friends and other onlookers here in south east Texas .
4 year driver of 2020 XP: an older man of average weight and height. One thought is the smooth and stable ride of the new CB is surely related to the suspension and the steering. Both combine to increase the overall sense of security, and comfort. The Beast also performs well on all road surfaces — pavement and dirt. I much prefer it to the X as a daily driver. For winters in snow/ice country the CT may well reign supreme with studded tires.

Nope! I’m 5’9” at 165 lbs and the CT seat is NOT as comfy as the Model 3/Y. Those seats are the crème de la crème.

I have over 20k miles on CT now, including several-day road trips. It is an EXCELLENT vehicle for road trips. Best overall vehicle I have ever driven. It’s going to be EPIC with FSD, but it’s still super easy to drive manually for long stretches.

Oh… the charging speed will eventually be VERY fast with v4 800v chargers. For now, it’s not that much slower to charge up than my Model 3P. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We need an aftermarket seat cushion to raise up the seat area level with the forms Tesla installed inside the seat.

FWIW I have done this trip dozens of times in the Model 3 and Model S with FSD and more recently in the Rivian. The FSD ride is fantastic. It truly is. You can generally count on making on-ramp to off-ramp without intervention. You'll end up stopping at Buc-ees in Madisonville one way or another anyway. (+/-) though in the S you can skip the stop up and stop only once on the way home.

All that said, I prefer the Rivian because if dine it to be a more comfortable road-tripper. It eat an extra 15 minutes on the charger but worth it to me.

nor as overall comfy / smooth as my wife's SQ7 with similar setup (air suspension, dynamic shocks, rear steer)...nor does it handle as well - but it's amazingly close on 35" tires, weighing 1-2k more, more payload and 3500lbs more towing, 4x4 chops, .9 seconds faster (beast), etc - for a truck it is amazingly comfy & capable all around vehicle. - love it!!!

CT still drives like a truck and feels like a floating boat. It's not as grounded and stable as the X. I took the X on a recent 4k mile road-trip bc it has FSD, it's 30% more efficient and is more stable and comfortable for a road-trip. Plus the X is more incognito

I had a chance to take an X and Cybertruck down the same dirt road near a delivery cent. Longer wheelbase, bigger tires, stiffer body, more advanced air suspension makes for a much smoother and composed ride with no squeaks or rattles.
I like the X but the CT is just in another league.
Totally agree. I own both MX and CT. CT hands down smoother, quieter, more comfortable and the fun to drive factor is over the top.
