Hello fellow Cybertruck owners.

I need your insight on problem that I have been dealing with the last few months.
I decided to ship my CyberBeast to Europe. I have shipped over 30 cars from the US to Europe in the past and I am familiar with the process, but this one is turning into a nightmare. I shipped it from NJ to Rotterdam in the Netherlands mid November and it still has not arrived. The shipping company changed the dates several times and the latest date is Feb 13th. When the vehicle was loaded the battery charge was at 90% and I have turned everything that is draining the battery (sentry mode, cabin heat/overheat etc..) My question for you is - When the vehicle finally arrives what is the chance that the 48v battery will be dead and is there any chance that I will be able to charge the vehicle at all ? Are there any other problems that might occur if the main battery and 48v battery are completely dead ?
Let me know what you guys think, so I can prepare myself for that is to come.

Thank you.

The 48V charge level is maintained by the main battery pack so that shouldn't be a concern.

Like all Teslas the CT will have reserve battery capacity that can't be used for any purpose other than to keep the battery pack from getting bricked. It will shut down completely and hibernate in order to maintain itself and it can be in this state for quite some time.

If the main battery pack has gone into hibernation state the 48V battery COULD be exhausted but you can pop the frunk with a 12V jump pack to get access to it and then jump the battery.

The worst thing you can do is check the state of the truck in the app since every time you do this you are waking it up and consuming power.

I've seen some Cybertrucks on the dealer lot that were built 6 months ago. I wondered how the batteries survived sitting for so long.

A properly-sleeping truck will consume only about 20W, which will take many months to deplete a 100%-charged pack. Hopefully the idled trucks are getting charged periodically?

Fully disconnecting the MV battery is probably the right answer for long-term storage of indeterminate duration. I'd probably even connect leads to the jump-start posts and run the wires outside the frunk, making it simple to quickly attach an external power source.
