Not seeing any of these from CA, hmmm
Without the support of California citizens, California government (EV buying incentives, tigher/lower pollution limits on ICE, other incentives), California EV buyers, there probably would be no Tesla today.

Now that Tesla is successful Texas is all eager to get the factory but Texas initially and even today barely helps in replacing ICE & fossil fuels with renewables.

Another example is the Tesla Austin factory will start producing cars any day now and Tesla still has to jump through extra hoops to sell to Texas buyers due to the car dealership laws.

Remember in Feb 2021 the Texas officials blamed solar and wind energy for the blackouts even after the Texas energy agency said solar/wind was not the cause. The vast majority of Texas power is from fossil fuel thermal type plants. Many of those plants failed and even the thermal based nuclear plant had problems.

Ah I see. You want the winning team to be the nicest one, not the one with the most points. Got it.

All the Cybertrucks made for the last two years were made in California. No one else can claim that. Texas will start to make 'em when the order comes...from California. No shame in being in second place, Texas.

Texas has a gulf
California has an ocean (With world famous kelp beds for scuba)

California may vibrate at times but we will never get a hurricane.

Rain is a gentle shower in California. (when it rains) Texas rain causes property damage while filling the ER

Who cares about imaginary lines anyway?

Cybertruck - Designed by Tesla, a company founded in California. Produced in Texas at Tesla's new headquarters.

Everyone happy?

PS - While I agree with the sentiment that the CT would be the most Texan of trucks you can buy, I would not expect politicians to solve the age-old Ford vs Chevy vs Dodge vs Toyota and soon to be vs Tesla truck debate.
