I am sure that this is a design element of the touchscreen maybe for crash safety, but I noticed that the surface of the touchscreen seems "spongy". My model 3 screen is a rigid glass surface, but the surface of the touch screen in the Cyber truck seems like it gives...

Is your touch screen the same way on the cybertruck?

Is the rear passenger screen the same, or just the large front diver one?

Mine is the same. My MYP was not. Rear is not spongy. Anyone?

I noticed that right away as well. Much different feeling than my now gone Model 3. The rear screen is more firm but likely due to it being a smaller surface area. I’ve gotten used to the main screen surface now by just lightly tapping the screen.

I never noticed before, but I just checked right now and there is definitely some flex in the glass. I have a tempered glass screen protector waiting to be installed. I will report back tonight if there is less flex after adding it.

Even with the flex is still feels hard and like glass, it just has a little give. Maybe you need to have a lovers touch and stop being so rough?

Did you remove the factory glass protective cover. Like the ones that come on TVs? You may see a tab sticking up.

I put on the tempered glass screen protector and it did reduce the flex, but it doesn't eliminate it. Next step is to add 3 more layers of screen protectors, I will make this thing as strong as plywood!

Yeah it’s different. Definitely all of them are like that by design.

Anyone have any updates on this? I just took delivery of my Foundation CB and had a demo AWD unit before that was probably a newer build. The newer one seemed to not have this issue but my CB has it and it bugs me.
