Though Q1 2024 was light on CT deliveries I know quite a few of those early owners are on /were on this forum. Anyone try to get a trade-in quote from Tesla after your one-year minimum ownership window lapsed? I don't recall seeing anything threads and with under three months to go myself am just curious.

I tried last January in order to buy one with free SC-ing, and it looked like Tesla might proceed with a trading, but they did not and I ended up selling to Texas Auto Traders.

Were you post one year of ownership?

No. About 9-10 months…
Thanks. Really curious to what trade-in quotes will be now that early owners are beyond the "mandatory" holding period.

I got $80k last week from a Porsche Dealer …
Dual or beast? I’m assuming beast since a dual can be had for less than $80k. However, it’s weird to see that there are almost no used CT’s listed for less than $80k.

I just Totalled my First Foundation and Insurance said it was worth 83k with 15k miles.. They were being way more generous than Tesla will be on a trade in for sure! I got Number 2 on Order just waiting for Delivery Date!

That’s insane! Maybe I will add a CT to my stable in addition to what I have. I thought once the credits kicked in there would be a big hit to used values. Good for y’all!

A lot of people have tried to trade in a CT to Tesla, and Tesla does not accept CT trade ins. At least yet anyway. A little odd because I traded a Model 3 in after it came out within 6 months, but the CT is different it seems.

I know people have tried to trade in the Cybertruck, but in all the threads I've read, and I may have missed a few, the trucks were less than one year old so were technically ineligible anyway.

I'm just trying to figure out that we'll now see real numbers of owners cross the one-year minimum ownership threshold if any of the folks who have satisfied the clause in the purchase agreement have tried to trade in their Cybertrucks and, if so, what has been the reaction/pricing.

I thought the one year hold was removed.

Carvana offered me 78k a week or so ago with 9k miles.

I haven't seen or received any notification from Tesla about the removal of the purchase agreement clause.

Thanks for the data point. AWD?
