Cybertruck vs Rivian R1T spotted on street (size comparison look)

Do truck people typically care about comparing sizes? I've never had any serious interest in other trucks because they aren't compelling to me. So I've never really thought to compare sizes.

I did see a guy last week in a Ford with like 4 foot tires on and like a 2 foot lift. I'm guessing he wins every size comparison competition.

I know nobody cares but I guess I’m going to cancel my order, I need a truck that can actually put a sheet of plywood in and not just a fun truck to drive. If it’s even close to the Rivian size it’s not going to work for me. No I’m not just wanting a huge truck because I’m an American, it needs to be useable.

Rivian R1T looks nice. Tesla Cybertruck looks nice. Red Model 3 looks nice.

My bad I guess. When you said "I'm an American" I took that as sarcasm because what the hell does your nationality have to do with anything related to the Cybertruck? People drive trucks all over the planet. Sorry, it's really weird to me when people use vehicles as an extension of their identity.

I said American because every time I mention the size of it some ass hat comments on how Americans have to have huge trucks.

the preproduction dimensions of the CT bed can fit a piece of plywood just the same as the unveil prototype

they’re both wide enough, and neither has an 8’ bed, so both would require the tailgate to be down for plywood

Just like any truck with less than an 8’ bed

I hope it can, I know I’ll probably not see the 500 mile range in the first production runs but being able to hold full sheets is a must. Tailgate down is fine, like you said most all trucks need the tailgate down anyway.

Added perspective lines. It's shorter, but may be longer.

They both have adjustable air suspension that will give a maximum of approximately 15in of ground clearance, so it all depends on the height settings.

What's more obvious to me is the size of the Cybertruck compared to the car beside it. The CT also is obviously at it's lowest suspension height setting.

Yeah, it doesn't look like anyone in the drivers seat. And they blacked out the license plate too. Also there's a "Kilowatts" sticker on the back window of the R1T
