Super interesting @CybertruckCovers , good job on getting this far.

In terms of the 'magnets', is it a similar concept to the magnetic signs you can get for cars? but giant, and precisely cut? So every part of the underlying surface is magnetic? I think I use something similar, in tape form, for my warehouse rack labels.
Yes. These are similar to magnetic signs used for business logos on cars and trucks, but with a higher magnetic energy rating for the lower iron content of stainless steel. These are overgrown fridge magnets on steroids. :D

Cyber Fridge Magnets - Love it! I think the name covers doesn’t quite do it justice.
During the 5-year wait for the production version reveal, we were never really sure that the Cybertruck would be magnetic, so we just called them "covers" instead of magnets. We had several design concepts for different scenarios.

We are currently testing a pre-treatment solution to be sold along side our colored magnetic panel kits to make certain that customers who choose to leave the magnetic panels on for months, rather than days have adequate protection against corrosion when driving in environments with excessive salt or grit on the roads. The solution would be applied to the stainless steel and allowed to fully cure before you apply the magnets. This should seal out any corrosive elements that can get between the magnets and the steel.

Obviously, you want to make sure the cover kit is applied to a clean vehicle. If you choose not to use any pre-treatment solution, you should remove the magnetic panels for regular cleaning when you wash your truck.
With PPF on it, do you need the solution? Will it damage the PPF after months?

We've appreciated everyone's patience while waiting for our product. It's been a long process to get our colored cover kits measured in. The Cybertruck's body panels, as many of us already know, are not precise or consistent. There are slight variations with each Cybertruck, so producing an exactly cut cover kit for a one size fits all solution is difficult. Sharp corners had to be radiused (rounded off) a bit to provide some room for error during DIY installation, and also to avoid air pockets from developing along any sharp corners during higher wind speeds that could result in lifting off the covers.

These covers are simple to print custom graphics on, so we will be offering made to order panel kits for businesses and anyone else who wants a unique look for their Cybertruck. Basic colors such as matte black, matte white and matte red will be offered first, but all of those colors can be printed on as well. Our cover kits will eventually be offered in nearly every color that is now currently available for regular vinyl wraps.

Stay tuned for more updates!

This looks super promising. As someone who has always wrapped my other cars, it was actually something I did not want to do on my cybertruck because the SS is just so unique, and this seems like a perfect solution, and on your mule it looks wonderfully executed. Could something like Adam’s graphene ceramic coating, or any ceramic coating, be applied to the surface of this?

You shouldn't need any pre-treatment since your vehicle already has the PPF layer. The magnets won't harm your PPF.

It's possible that a ceramic coating is adequate for protection, but we haven't tested it yet. Right now, we are testing ProtectaClear with some corrosive elements like salt thrown into the mix to see what happens.

I would recommend magnetic wrap or magnet wrap

Friggin brilliant idea!! I believe this really makes sense, hopefully the magnetics are strong enough for cross winds.
We tested these panels in a gusty wind storm up to 95 MPH driving speeds. We will also offer optional edge-lock clips for extra peace of mind if you need them.

The kits won’t be light. This is a very rough estimate, but I’d say they’ll be at least 30 lbs when shipped. The magnetic sheets are relatively thick.

Why is each door 2 pieces then you get all the unsightly exposed silver corner edges? It appears from the pic that the magnet is able to bend along the bottom crease of the door why not the top? Would look much better and prevent dirt from accumulating where the two magnets meet on the door.

EDIT:Same thing for the rear panel is it just because shipping?
