So I did a little experiment to stop debris, leaves and dirt from entering the inside of the tonneau cover base area. I tried foams, single sided tapes, and a couple other items. I found that the Frost King Brush Pile Self Stick Weatherseal works great. Basically it stops just about everything from getting past the tonneau cap. It also stops water from getting past when you are washing with high pressure. Installs to the underside of the tonneau cap with pre installed self adhesive. I know it ends up in the bed but it’s better than having debris building up in the area where the tonneau stores.

Seriously, thanks for this pro tip! I was thinking about this and realized I'd have to buy a bunch of things to try out, you did it all for me. Thx again

On a side note………… i removed the cap and ran it from side to side. Its just a couple Torx screws on both sides. Pops off after they are removed.
