Despite the delay and lack of information (which l believe to be beyond their control) it has overall been a satisfactory buying experience.

11am was earliest available in tampa for the delivery. only had 3 spots, so i went quick. lol

I had an 11am option as well but opted for 3pm hopefully not as busy

I wonder if you could get it early, with some hassling. I mean its 9 days i guess., I wonder if most of these trucks are already on the way, @misdemeanor said mine was born on the 27th of feb, so it's been ready for almost a month now. Which i hope wasn't baking in the sun lol.

I can assure you mine is already on site. It’s been on site since march 11th. I was informed it was inside the building and not outside to protect it. I was on site and didn’t see it in parking lot, so seems as they were telling the truth. I think this date is set to give them ample time to fix whatever issue there was. But I’m not a SA so I’m not certain. I think my born date what October or November and it’s a FS grey interior.

They are changing adhesives and welding the front stud/ nut to the stainless instead of the support bracket. So direct mechanical connection.

All truck manufacturer through February 27th, but report says only 1% impacted.

I suspect our trucks are all gonna get delayed past the 29th unless the centers can fix them quickly. Kit they are just finding it out today. Who knows if they have the trucks on their lots now and what is needed to immediately fix them before delivery.

Production should get new parts tomorrow. I'm guessing the first batch of new parts are being used to update shipped-but-not-delivered vehicles.
Swapping both sides is a 45 minute job.

As of March 18, 2025, the condition has not been corrected in production.
Tesla anticipates that vehicles in production will begin receiving the remedy on or around March 21, 2025. Vehicles produced before the factory clean point but still in Tesla’s possession will be retrofitted before delivery to customers with the remedy component described above.

My truck was born on 1/9. I was lucky enough to find it at our local mall parking lot which is being used by Tesla as a storage lot. Unfortunately it’s not a covered lot. (It’s been baking and rained on) but I was able to go over it and all panels and gaps look great. The had over 20 cybertrucks parked. Not many of them were base models. I originally ordered the white trim with core wheels, panicked when trucks were placed on hold. Realizing they had white trim with cyber wheels option already on the lot and it was the last available, I quickly asked to be assigned to it instead. Delivery date will be 3/29. Being the interest rate is so low I didn’t want to miss out on it.

FWIW, ours has sat outside in Michigan weather since May with no ill effects.
(Taking it to the ORV park a week after getting it though, that left a mark)

I received the 28th @ 1:00. Pensacola. Ordered on the 9th. It gave me that date originally then cleared it during the Delay. Popped up today for me to schedule and exact date and time was confirmed. ?

Seems like the recall has caught wind of all the news outlets and is spreading like wildfire. At least the people waiting for delivery seem to be the first on the list to get the part replaced.

Yeah, factory won't get new part until tomorrow (per paperwork).
As to deliveries, a new vehicle cannot be sold if it has outstanding recalls against it (federal law).

Just went to the showroom and rescheduled to 28th. Now hopefully we can go soccer game with CYBERTRUCK!

I just scheduled on 30th for delivery but instant regretted. I’m trying to reschedule to 29th.

Initially was planning to go kids soccer games on Sat but what I think there are always soccer games.
