Did SC let it cure long enough? When they did mine, the tech asked me to leave the truck as long as I could so they could let it sit with sand bags on to hold it down and let it cure. I just picked it up at the end of the day (approx 7hr after finish). Haven't had any mechanical issues with it.

But, that said, this light bar is more looks than performance. It's a pity Tesla did not engineer this to function better and also interface (dashboard software) better. If mine ever comes off, I'll chuck it in the bin and thats that.
Sounds like aftermarket is the way to go for these. I saw one recently that bolts to the front most roof rack mounting points.

I left it with them all week. I have no idea how long the technician left the sandbags on however, out of the multiple problems, they really only fixed one and that was the twisted seat belt. Keep an eye on it if you start hearing a whistling noise.

Mine started lifting and had to be repaired as well.

Besides the fact that the OEM lightbar looks cool as hell - way way better than any of the aftermarket ones I’ve seen so far - you already paid for it and it will add value to your vehicle - who knows how much - and it literally took me 5 minutes to connect after the SC installed it. Oh - BTW - it’s dimmable and easy to turn off from the screen so you can use it in non-off road scenarios without blinding anyone. Just do it.

Ebay. Get somebody with a FS/CB to sell you theirs or wait to see if Tesla ever intends to actually sell them.

We have now completely dispelled the notion that it will only work on FS/CBs. So the hard part seems only getting your hands on one.

I finally received an invite from the Tesla service center to schedule my lightbar installation, (Foundation Beast delivered June 2024), and from what I’m understanding they can’t legally connect the lightbar and it’s not a simple job, see below.

I stopped taking expensive vehicles off-road when I got into ATVs and this lightbar will not actually function in any other mode, but off-road, from what I’m finding. In other words; I will never turn it on!

Does anybody here with a Cyberbeast foundation series have any experience with the lightbar that they can share and any experience about rejecting it? I’m hoping I get a credit of sorts. Thanks

My biggest concern is will the lightbar detract from the angular beauty of the Cyberbeast? Do I want a ridge where once there was none?

Tesla service tells me it is not easily reversible once installed ?

This is the best video representation of what it will look like that I can find. I’m hesitant

If anything detracts from the angular beauty, it's the wiper arm/blade.
