Shop had an interesting note on my service, which indicated that;

1. I have the latest revision parts for the wiper system.
2. The wiper with the new firmware is "somewhat improved"
3. The wiper performance is still not optimal.
4. Engineering is aware of the issues and continues to work on a better solution.

I took my truck to the service center and they found the hose was leaking. The fixed the hose, cleaned the jets, and updated to the latest update. Now my washer is doing a good job on the windshield. It’s not perfect, but is workable.

Probably not a popular opinion but it should be perfect. I understand a new vehicle has early adopter qwerks. But in my opinion a windshield washer and blade are critical systems to nail because they have such huge safety implications.

I just returned from a trip to Jasper through a snow storm - white out conditions with lots of mud kicked up on my windshield. The spray update worked quite well - not perfect - the top section still features some streaks which appears to be a result of insufficient wiper blade pressure on the windshield, rather than a spray issue. Note that I poked several additional holes in my blade, so not a definitive test. But I'm pleased with the improvement - went from nearly unusable to serviceable under very tough conditions.

Here is my wiper story.
Picked up truck in late August. Everything worked fine until I had THE LIGHTBAR installed. Twice it was glued on the windshield. During the third gluing they broke the windshield. Needless to say, they replaced it and reassembled almost everything. They left the rear ceiling shade on the floor of the truck and lost two of the clips. Everything worked find during our trip from Florida to NJ (no rain during the trip0. Two days after arriving in NJ it started to rain. When I turned on the wiper it swept down, then swept further down to wipe the frunk. All in the middle of a heavy down pour. Thank goodness for RainX! The wiper then stuck straight out like I was looking for a duel with epees. Once the dueling stopped, it swung around and lodged between the driver's mirror. and the window. All the while still driving in the rain. After arriving back at our destination in Barnegat, I set up an appt to have my tires rotated and check the wipers. At first I setup a Mobile Service call. Everything ws confirmed and I awaited the service date. I received a confirmation of the moblie service on the Friday before the Monday appt. On saturday, I checked to see if there were any additional messages from Telsa. Sure enough, the mobile appt was cancelled and an appt was rescheduled for a week later. Grrrrrr. The appt day finally arrived. It was for 8:15 am. Naturally it was pouring rain and we were an hour and a half away from the SC in Cherry Hill. We made the appt on time. The SC was very helpful. They fixed all the error msgs that were flashing on the screen. Apparently FT Myers didn't finish making all the connections inside the mirror box when they replaced the windshield. The error with the wiper was that it wasn't tightened when they replaced windshield! Now all is well again, they replaced the wiper arm, tightened the nut, rotated the wheels, and fixed the loose connections in the mirror box. Now I am headed back to Texas, via Chattanooga!
And I still like my CB!
