I know you can’t see behind the truck through the back window when the tonneau is closed, but can you see into the bed?
I had assumed the tonneau was a continuous thing is attached on some kind of axle that rolls and unrolls it (pushes and pulls it to make it move) like an industrial garage door. I thought it completely blocked the window even when fully closed, but saw a glimpse in a video recently that looked like you maybe could see through the back glass into the bed when the tonneau was closed. If true, that means it’s probably powered open and closed not by some rolling axle like I thought but by two mechanisms, one on each side track somehow in order to reveal the window.
