Driver's seat squeak

Tried searching, found thread on seat squeaks, but get error message when I try to click on it.

I have a very loud squeak on my low mileage 2024 Beast driver's seat up by my right ear. It is worse when the truck sits out in the sun and is hot inside. I can press my shoulder into the seat and repeat it endlessly. Turned in a service ticket and received an estimate back for $265. I accepted it and will take the truck in, but I'm not feeling like I should have to or would pay $265 to get it fixed...Any advice?

Hi Randy.
Might be a completely different squeek from yours but mine was caused by the side of the seat rubbing on the center arm rest and it was driving me crazy everytime i would push back on my seat or move it back. So my simple solution was to buy these black suede sticky pads on amazon so i can place between the seat and the center arm rest. Doesnt look perfect but it stopped my squeeking. Hope yours is as simple as my issue.

Thanks, I did read about that earlier.This squeak is right next to my ear. Im going to buy some of that material vfrom Amazon and give it a try....

It's a fairly common issue with early VINs at least; some folks have had complete seat replacements because of it.

The seats in the CT are nearly perfect and super comfortable, but do have their minor flaws. squeaking and anemic airflow at times seem to be the biggest hits.

If it’s under warranty still the estimate is just a placeholder for out of warranty people, they will adjust the line item to “warranty “
