I've worked on bottling lines and laser carving machines and the biggest problem is always leaks. They leak, no matter what, all the time. Multiple times a week I'd need to replaced a small hose somewhere on the bottling line and for the laser systems it was the same story. Even worse than that was how many manidolds and sensors were associated and usually one of them whining would shut the whole thing down. Errors and leaks, all day every day... And these were kept inside.

Both of these machines were in the million dollar ballpark too.
Damn my suspicions were true, I was hoping leaking lines were not the major issue. Nothing like trying to replace an air line snaking throughout the body of the truck every time there are door issues. haha

In 1996 I spent some time in Chicago.
A freind of mine (driving Ford Pickup or 740 Volvo always) showed me his garage.....
It had a powerfull gasheater inside.
In Germany you did not heat your garage (if you had one) Thus I was a bit surprised.
He told me it was because of the harsh winters in his area and therefore very common.

I am sure CT owners with freezing issues will find a high tech solution.
Or just use a aftermarket car/ truckcover.?
Doesn't everyone have a furnace in their garage? I also have a fridge with beer, and a sun room with cheap folding chairs. No one likes being cold when drinking their beer.....

@BillyGee

IF you can get into the bed........
otherwise just use the outdoor socket via adapter at the heated charging port, like the new
IONIQ 5 comes with as standart.
Given you buy one first, if Tesla won't give this great feature to S3XY owners......
No pressure Elon...:ROFLMAO:

Actually as much as I like the roling vault cover I guess it will be the best (compared to open pit) but most challaging item in harsch winters.
Snow falling in while opening, freezing shut....

and it comes also with "no handels" !! @Elon please be more ;) specific you teaser.

Facial recognition? I have the key pad/combination lock on my F350. I love it. I can leave my keys in the truck when I’m out running or walking my dogs and don’t have to worry. But facial recognition would be even better.

Luv it, but how will it work if I use my Cybertruck as a robo taxi? How will my customers get in?

It will let them in?

You don't want people not your customer getting in, do you?

-Crissa
No, but just wondering how it would distinguish who is and isn't a customer.

Well in order to get the robotaxito even come people need a phone I believe. I’d expect the robotaxi phone app would work just like a phone key to open the door once the robotaxi arrives. The person who ordered the ride would then be responsible to only let in people from their party. And any damage would be go against their reputation.

But maybe you were thinking of some more amazing way of doing it?

I have seen in the comments above, the concern for ICE! This is from a Winter storm I drove thru on the way home to Chicago. IT IS A REAL CONCERN! I cannot imagine if my CT was parked out overnight during this storm, hopefully there is a manual handle in case of emergencies!
