I've had the brake stabbing issues and dodging things on the road that don't need to be dodged. Biggest issue I've had was all the cameras suddenly quit working and the FSD visualization was just a an empty black background with the truck (because no camera feeds?). Of course the truck wouldn't let me engage FSD. This happened after FSD parked and then I manually backed up and left the spot. Never exited the truck. I ended up parking and doing the double scroll-wheel reboot, which fixed it.

Definitely some bugs to work out, but ignoring the bugs it feels like an improvement.
i haven't had the cameras go out on me. Weird how bugs show up for some but not all.

Same here, dodging shadows on the road and pumping the brakes in certain intersections.

This is the exact reason why Tesla is (according to popular opinion) slow to release updates. They have to be careful about public reception when the small issues haven't been finely tuned early on in the branch.

Which is why I really wish they would actually use the "advanced" builds for people who opt in via the Software menu. So far, they have used that for pretty much everything except FSD lol
Dont get me wrong, i think FSD is cutting edge and takes way more liberties than any other ADAS system on the road today. That being said, that level of agency demands both understanding of the limitations and also a little leeway. I agree that maybe tesla should keep the newest versions with a couple bugs to anyone opting into “advanced testing” and have the general public 0.5 steps behind, but i also understand the need for data. The disclaimer that the car is not autonomous and the driving MUST be supervised continues to shift liability to the driver.

in my case, if i thought it would do significant damage i would have stopped the truck before it hit the carriage, but i wanted to see if it would do it, and it did. I take responsibility for the truck bumping the cart, and i intervened after the fact (braking) to prevent damage. Im as much a tester as anyone else using the software. I think its important to point out edge cases and faults because they do occur, and keeps people vigilant when they might think “im in the clear” and become complacent

your right terrible parking selection.
I only park at the end of a row where i can as far over as possible if not the back of the parking lot.
I don't do well with door dings

I guess most of these disgruntled posts forget this is supposed to supervised FSD.
Who in their right mind would let the car park in a spot the person described including the shopping cart?
Not a good parent with a child car…I remember when FSD first came out on model 3. It has come a really long way!!!

I tried end-to-end FSD for the first time today and I was flat-out amazed.
As far as I understand, Cybertruck has only had the end-to-end versions of FSD.

Well, I didn't see the cart until the truck was half-in.

Tried for the first time last night....sudden hard breaking (~ 30mph to 5mph within 5-10 feet) caused by oncoming car headlights on single lane 25mph roads. Happened twice (one straight-away, one bending road) Never experienced this "collision fear" auto hard breaking prior.

i also notice they removed the report after disengaging…
Unfortunately slow-speed, close to destination FSD disengagements have never triggered a reporting prompt. From FSD 10.x onwards.

My bad—I used confusing terminology there. I wasn't referring to the software stack; I meant "end-to-end" as in: From my driveway to a parking lot spot [without touching pedals or steering wheel].

I will admit, I did not see the cart until the truck was already in the spot… I was frustrated by the spot it had chosen anyway, and by that point, I just wanted to see how the truck would handle the situation… To be clear, there was no damage to my vehicle or the cart.

I like that version!

...but maybe 'driveway to destination' or 'start to parked' wouldn't get confused.

There is a reason why we don't have ASS or banish yet. We simply need to supervise currently and not let it hit things.

Now that the driving is basically solved, i am sure they will focus on the parking aspect and build/refine it.
