Why would you say something like that instead of asking for clarification? It’s just incendiary. Life is difficult as it is these days.
Some of the people on this forum are not kind. Accusing others before any verification. This forum can be very toxic. I was accused of being a fake car journalist by the knucklehead, so called a” successful attorney “

So. Decided to go for a quick drive to the super market. FSD decided it wanted to go 30 in a 25 even in sloth mode…

Then while backing into the parking spot, it chose probably the worst spot, one where the person next to me had parked on the line and crooked... and also one someone had decided to leave a cart in… it proceeded to back into the spot and hit the shopping cart…

i also notice they removed the report after disengaging…

First impressions are not great.
Just watched a YouTube of a CT backing into and hitting a shopping cart.

Glad to see others are calling balls and strikes. And thanks to @REM for that link to submit feedback, didn't know it existed. I'll be using it myself as well, since I had damage occur within 10 seconds of engaging FSD yesterday. I'll download the footage and post it later so I also don't get accused of a "fake post" 🤣

I think Cybertruck looked at that parking job of the guy on the left of the screen, and thought to it's self, " I am bullet proof and this guy is a jerk, I'll teach him a lesson and block his wife from getting in the car! Maybe she will teach him how to park!" That's AGI baby!!

so, i've disengaged a few times today, and the report option has only appeared once. so to clarify, it definitely has not been removed, but it definitely asks why the disengagement occurred less frequently

since i've been driving, i notice that it is more confident most of the time, but its now doing some weird things v13 wasnt. it signaled and swerved to the right twice while driving on a city street, prompting disengagement.

it also seems to randomly switch to the left lane on the highway then back to the middle lane very quickly after, as if its trying to pass an invisible car…

the biggest changes and improvements are the start of drive ui fix, and the end of drive destination options. it also seems to stay more centered in the lane on the highway. i wish they kept driver speed control.

I tried end-to-end FSD for the first time today and I was flat-out amazed. I have a pretty big driveway and it self-parked in a pretty logical spot, too. At the restaurant, it perfectly backed into a spot between a car and a curb—and did it in one maneuver.

I didn't use FSD much on v13 because it would do things like clipping curbs on left turns. This time, it handled curbs just right.

Hats off to the Tesla engineering team! We're not at true full-self-driving yet, but this is a big step in that direction. It's great that we have enhancements to look forward to, instead of owning vehicles with tech that is frozen in time.

Us nerds here are probably hyper sensitive to anything that could be used as FUD, but having said that legitimate edge cases do need to be fed back to the system for further training.

Insurance and FSD is going to be extremely interesting over the next few years.

Mine was GREAT - it backed out of the garage (a first) and drove 29 miles on and off freeway but it decided to park behind the store not out in the parking lot. The way home was perfect . I even added a stop at a store. It parked backing into a good spot. Then I continued the drive home and pulled into my driveway (a first) It may have gone into the garage but I didn't open it soon enough...so it parked in the drive. Loved it.

Like I said I'm the other thread, I totally get it. It's much easier to trash things and some people live to do it (trolls). I'm neither.

Undesirable behavior should be reported, Fed back and integrated for future avoidance. Like when my 1.5 year old smacks me in the face. She did something unexpected and undesirable, she should receive negative feedback. I'm not going to avoid telling her she was bad in fear of her extrapolating that to "I am, as a whole and to the core, bad".

Besides, I'm a nerd too. I've been working in self driving since 2017. It's a wild, constantly changing environment. Sadly it's a lot of public ignorance and regulatory over reaction.

I've had the brake stabbing issues and dodging things on the road that don't need to be dodged. Biggest issue I've had was all the cameras suddenly quit working and the FSD visualization was just a an empty black background with the truck (because no camera feeds?). Of course the truck wouldn't let me engage FSD. This happened after FSD parked and then I manually backed up and left the spot. Never exited the truck. I ended up parking and doing the double scroll-wheel reboot, which fixed it.

Definitely some bugs to work out, but ignoring the bugs it feels like an improvement.

Same here, dodging shadows on the road and pumping the brakes in certain intersections.

This is the exact reason why Tesla is (according to popular opinion) slow to release updates. They have to be careful about public reception when the small issues haven't been finely tuned early on in the branch/version.

Which is why I really wish they would actually use the "advanced" builds for people who opt in via the Software menu. So far, they have used that for pretty much everything except FSD lol
