So. Decided to go for a quick drive to the super market. FSD decided it wanted to go 30 in a 25 even in sloth mode…

Then while backing into the parking spot, it chose probably the worst spot, one where the person next to me had parked on the line and crooked... and also one someone had decided to leave a cart in… it proceeded to back into the spot and hit the shopping cart…

i also notice they removed the report after disengaging…

First impressions are not great.
So they haven’t fixed the Cybertruck controller yet? If fixed it should know where the truck is wrt the cart.

I worry about what it will do at SCs…

Fake post. They didn’t remove the reporting system after disengagement.
Why would you say something like that instead of asking for clarification? It’s just incendiary. Life is difficult as it is these days.

That sucks, but doesn’t Tesla automatically record and hit?
I think the neural net sees it as a punishment, and tries to understand why it happened and learn from it. My guess the reporting mechanism is basically so the engineers can see how the neural net is responding to the disengagement and provide it guidance as to whether the disengagement was actually warranted.

It seems a little glitchy. Mine disconnected twice on my way home. I think it just said “software error” I wasn’t able to reactivate for some time. It also disconnected once and said cameras needed calibrating.
Weird. Wasnt it having some issues on 3/y initially too?

But the truck did hit the cart, right? So wouldn’t that register as a collision?

Right, that plus i hit the brake. Not sure if the integrated autopark regime has the same level of punishment/reward as the autopilot/autosteer regime, but it still should at a minimum record the disengagement before completion of the procedure.

Does anybody else have this problem when you try to "react" to a post?

I hover over the "Like" hand to change it to, well, a surprised face in this case, and I see nothing unless I zoom WAAAAAAAY out. Then, I see this:

All the visualizations (except the truck) disappeared for 2-3 minutes during my first drive, and then came back like nothing ever happened (no error message). I know it was more than just the display because my turn signals failed to auto-cancel during the outage. FSD was disengaged at the time...I wonder what would have happened if it was running.

The controller has definitely been updated, and I think it's now fully native instead of emulated (which is why the lane centering is now corrected).

Also, there have been quite a few people using FSD from charger to charger without intervention, so we are looking good right about now. Still need refinements, of course.

My first impressions have been really positive as well. No issues at all during my daily commute using mad max mode. Parking is a bit hit or miss. 50% of the time it was perfect, 50% of the time it had to be adjusted. Would love to get a piece of "ASS" soon.

I am happy to be a beta tester. Remember, we are still beta testers. We are "supervising" our AI teenage drivers who are getting better and better with every iteration/update.
