on the positive side, my 2017 model S that no longer gets updates might actually get an update once again :p
FWIW, there are older model cars on TeslaFi that still get updates. The oldest I've found so far is a 2013 Model S 60 that's received regular updates and is currently on version 2024.2.2.1.

Perhaps talk to Service to find out for sure why you haven't been getting updates.

its because i have the original infotainment computer. if i wanted to pay for the latest generation computer i am sure i would start getting updates again. but its not worth it.

AND if you had paid for FSD when you purchased the car, in a few years, with the same hardware that came with the car, you would have fully functional robo-taxi quality FSD and it would have been money well spent.
This was back in 2017 when tesla first promised that the 2017 model had "Everything needed for FSD" before FSD was a separate thing, Autopilot was supposed to be all you needed, but then they changed their minds. So yea, no, thanks already been fooled once.
