After using the $2500 voucher to buy and install the tent a few months back, I haven't had a chance to use it until last night. Man, is this thing sweet. If you were/are on the fence about getting it, just do it. Extremely well made and super easy to put up and down. Great for one adult and two kids or two adults and one kid, but beyond that it is probably pushing it.

We used the stock Tesla CyberTent Campsite Setup video and it was easy. Took maybe 30 mins to do it the first time around and will probably be 10-12 next time. Once you know where the clips pop on and off it is easy. The most difficult part was getting the zipper to align when putting it away. As long as you follow all the steps with the video, it is great.

The tent stays warm enough it was very comfortable. You can see from the picture that I have a Kelty blowup mattress that fits perfectly. The inside of the tent stays nice and dry. The outer layer picks up a little moisture along the interior lining, so in the morning I opened up all of the tent windows to air and dry it out completely before putting it away. In about 20 mins it was good to go.

In case if you can't tell, yes, I do have a problem when it comes to buying CyberTruck accessories. I have them all except for the cooler and snow tires. Love the bins and I think the cargo divider and tailgate shield are my favorite. I had four bikes loaded up and it was way easier than messing around with my old Thule hitch rack.

We just went camping with ours. It was super easy to setup. Interesting thing is that ours had no windows to zip up. Now I am used to those flabs being inside a tent are they on the other side of the tent? Pretty cold at 37F. But side benefit no moisture.

It was less expensive than the Rivian option. But for me I would say yes it was worth it. The way it folds up and stores is really coinvent. Bed was actually really comfortable as is. We have battled with tent poles in the past and those terrible fiberglass slivers. It was also a condition my wife put on the purchase of the CT, "If you get the truck I want the tent."

I didn't realize that mine had the windows either until the next day since it was almost dark while we were setting it up. Inside the tent, you can unzip the first layer (where the material is a bit darker) to reach the protective layer outside where the inflated bars sit. Once you do that, then you can also unzip the protective layer outside to open the windows within it. There is one in the back along the truck bed window and two up top, one on each side.

Do you think the tent is a good purchase if you didn’t have the $2500 voucher?
I would still buy it and almost did before the voucher was available. Had a stock alert setup and grabbed one as soon as it was back in. Figured as more of these trucks got out there, that they would eventually sell out.

Love this thing. 2 adults and one child (7) and we were comfortable. I used the cybertent inflatable mattress from elecfresh that worked out perfectly. Super comfortable.
And the windows are great but that outer zipper is tucked behind one of the inflatable pillars. Just unzip and rezip the internal so you end up with double mesh layer. We had no rain and it was a perfect night so it kept air moving (and no bugs) in the tent.

You can reposition those pillars, looks like it had a kink in that first shot, maybe that's why the zipper was obstructed. They aren't on mine.

Yes, we used it 3 times and like you set it up in the dark. Never did much exploring since we were on a road trip and only used for a single night each time. I looked at other reviews and finally saw those windows.

Do you think you can half take it down just so you can close the vault and then take a quick day trip and when you get back, set it up again? Trying to minimize the setup tear down time when using the vehicle during the day and camping again at night.

No you can’t do that. Even folding the one section by the tailgate it is too high. Once you are that step it only takes a few seconds to fold all the way
