These serve dual purposes: they prevent wild life from crawling into the huge cavities left behind when the hitch cover is removed (same issue with the Model X) and as distractors?

I LOVE them

Just picked up my truck today after Lightbar installation, recall work completed, and wheel covers installed. Took delivery of the truck 5/9/24. Received an email for the wheel covers, but not the lightbar. I tried the service request once in the app, and was told to wait for the email. I checked the app to try again a few weeks ago, and noticed the "outstanding work" tab listing the lightbar. I clicked on that to schedule, and this time it worked. They called me after I dropped it off to see if I wanted to wait for the "new design" or go ahead with installation of the glued-on design. They said the other one may be available "soon". I told them to proceed with the current one as I am very familiar with the Tesla soon. I just connected the wire in the B pillar, and it is all set.

I know the off road light Bar has been an ongoing topic here, but I want to collect some data to present to TESLA.

I took delivery of my Cyberbeast back in May 2024. It’s been 9 months and I have not yet received “the email” to come and get your light. Nine months is way to long to wait. I called “customer relations” today and was told its a “hurry up and wait game” and there is NOTHING they can do on their end to expedite the process.
I have a neighbor that recently took delivery of his truck and has his light bar.

Some here on the forums have had success by just making a service appointment and had the light bar installed without the email. This tactic has not worked for me at 2 different service appointments.

I have 2 other Tesla vehicles and this has been the worst experience with Tesla service so far.

Question for fellow Cyberbeast owners here. How many here have had their light bars installed and how long have you owned your truck?

I could have had a baby by now..9 months is ridiculous and unacceptable!
i received my light bar three weeks after I took delivery. I had one service center cancel my app appointment. I followed up with a second service center, this time in person, and got my bar ordered that way. Never waited for an email.

Tesla seems to be allocating these lighbars out in batches for specific Service Centers that have a large number of FS Cyberbeasts delivery. My SC has been installing them non stop since last week. Yet mine is coming in on the 29 APR, on my 1 year anniversary ?

What is this “version 2“ people are referring to?
Earlier version had adhesive issues; basically, if the adhesive wasn't applied properly, the lightbar would dislodge from the windshield. Also, conversely, when properly applied, the bonding was so strong that it was impossible to removed the lightbar without risking damage to it and the windshield. I'm not sure what the fix entails on version 2

I’ve heard the version 2 said before, rumors obviously.
But if Tesla is actively messaging us to get our lightbar, wouldn’t that mean this is it? If version 2 was around the corner, they’d just wait if they were pushing a new version right?

I finally got my light bar yesterday. No email. I was travelling and decided to randomly make an appointment at a large service center for an accessory installation. I was expecting it to get cancelled. Instead, the status changed to "parts in transit."

It's nice knowing that our FS CB still gets more stuff added on later down the road. Can't wait to get my lightbar installed.
