Actually yes. I would be willing to pay a premium for one of the first produced.

Have you even put down a reservation yet? That would be the first thing to do. There are many people that think Tesla will come out with a special high dollar model, that will allow folks like you with money and a desire to skip the line to be the first buyers. That first model will probably be a quad motor Plaid version. Most of us think the opportunity to "Pony-Up" and buy those first high dollar versions of the Cybertruck will be given to people who are at least reservation holders.
Good luck.

unless Tesla limits it, im sure Ebay motors will be blowing up with the 1st few CT's produced. lucky bastards
Buy a Cybertruck for $250,000…. Then watch Tesla crank out half a million more over the next 18 months and watch the resale value of your “Collector’s truck” plummet to $50,000.

yes, but it’s definitely not one of the first.

I seriously doubt there will be a limited run Cybertruck out the gate. Tesla hasn’t done this with their previous launches so seems unlikely here.

Everything I’ve seen suggests Teslas biggest focus on their new assembly lines is getting as many vehicles out the door as possible quickly.

Just a simple example here, Tesla could have easily launched their Giga Berlin built Model Ys with a special model. Lots of Germans and Europeans would prefer a German built Tesla and would pay a premium for it. Instead Tesla is not differentiating them from the China built Model Ys they are importing already.

There were similar theories about a higher end special edition Model Y coming out of Texas. We got a new model, but it sells for less and basically slots right into the lineup at little to no premium.

Cybertruck is likely similar. No special edition. No super luxe model.

Good, that you have a reservation. As has been mentioned previously. Awhile back Elon did a tweet saying the first Cybertrucks will be Quad motor. It could imply they'll be like Tesla did last year when they redesigned the Model S. The first vehicles, were the Plaid's. And since there has never been an option to order a Quad, the assumption is that Tesla will be notifying reservation holders that the option is available (at probably a premium price). And that premium price will probably eliminate many of the reservation holders ahead of you.

This is all speculation. There has been NO official information released by Tesla. (which is very frustrating).

Where it was manufactured is in the VIN but I understand your point and it does look like that is their goal to get it launched as fast as possible.

There isn't a founders edition of the Cybertruck... Yet.
Would they paint the Founder's Edition? How could people passing you in the street know YOU had a Founder's Edition?
