Five times my CT frunk just opened by itself. My phone was in my pocket and the app was closed. Anybody else? How can I stop it?

You can also disable this feature ONLY at home, while leaving it free to work everywhere else.

Pretty handy if you use the frunk for groceries or shopping bags.

I have an android phone, and my frunk opened once randomly while I was in the house, setting off the alarm. Never repeated, not sure what happened.

Mine did that after a power washing. Only did it once, I forgot all about it. The windows also opened and the tonneau also opened. I did not blast the controls for the cover and tailgate and it was a light duty pressure washer.

lol…happened a few times to us - our garage is next to our family room, and my phone is on my armrest…several feet from the frunk (and through a wall)… i ”check marked” the “disabled when home” so hopefully this stops it otherwise I’ll have to disable the feature entirely. Mystery solved - thanks all.

I've also had this happen occasionally without me being anywhere near the car. It might have been an accidental button tap on the app as it's usually after I fiddle with something. I didn't think so at the time though.

This just happened to me last night 2 times. The first, it triggered the alarm. I have an iPhone and was in bed asleep. The auto open feature is always been off.

I live in a rural area. At first I thought it might’ve been an animal, but checked the house cameras and there was no activity.

Same here. A few times in the last few weeks. There is no beep prior so it's not the auto-open feature...
