What do the rivets look like? Mine looks like this. Would adding a slat solve a leak?

Yeah, I don't recall seeing the rivets at delivery. I noted them some time later and thought "hey how did I miss that". I need more slats apparently...
Same.

Interesting that yours healed itself through recalibration. Anyone know if there has been any part # revision on the motors. Mine are being replaced. Had similar symptom of video. Was in getting winter tire package. I left open. Explained I have to go out of truck and coax it home one micro tap at a time. I had the slat issue. Wasn't on service, but I asked to look at.

So two motors. They had one, then ordered another. Very nice. Told them to take time. No rush here.

Mine did exactly the same thing as in the video. Temp fixed itself multiple times. It got worse and worse, it finally would not open.
CT is in the SC for them to fix it, along with addressing the recall items.

I had this same issue and calibration solved it...temporarily. During a service appointment, they lubed the tracks of the cover and I've had no problem since.
Same

Fixed mine with Teflon dry lubricant. We’ll see how long it lasts. My problem is that I live on a farm and just hauled 2500 pounds of dirt.

after delivering the dirt, I hit the entire town track area with compressed air. However, during spring it’s extremely dusty here and more dust got in the track area. The Teflon lubricant definitely helped the cover, not activate the pinch sensor.

This is for the Tesla design team: I hypothesis that adding a brush inside the tonneau cover which brushes out the dust from the track every time it is activated well resolve the problem of too much resistance.

Just to follow-up. Recalibration didn't work for me.
Tonneau was finally fixed by the SC -> Remove and replaced RH and LH Horizontal Rail Assembly, they were misaligned.

It's been good ever since.
