I love how people don't believe the same exact interior is on both the AWD and the Beast
There is the one difference in FS (dashboard material) and 2 differences in NFS (dash + floorboard storage material). Those don’t matter all that much, but they are there.

I love how people don't believe the same exact interior is on both the AWD and the Beast (yes it has the nice black suede inside, the nicer looking tactical grey too), I have a non-fs, 80k AWD with FSD transferred from my old tesla, it's a great deal for an incredible truck (never thought the FS was worth it, this is coming from the guy who bought the most expensive model 3 performance for 80k in 2018)- I'll get the beast one of these days, but the AWD blows the lightning away in every aspect, no contest. Are you guys mad that I got the truck that cheap? lol
Well, for what was offered as options on the FS Beast was totally worth it. The PowerShare package alone (4k installation + 2.5k for hardware) for me in a hurricane prone location complements its value.

Mad? No. Happy.

Dollars aren’t precious things. You just don’t realize how many are created from nothing and given to people for nothing. It’s kind of like a big practical joke played on working productive people.

After a year of ownership and main daily driver I'd go with AWD again. Most miles I've driven in chill mode to extend the life of the tires... I have put it on sport mode and raced SVRs and Trackhawks on the freeway and kept up if it wasn't for the speed limiter. I would only consider the beast if it had better range than AWD.

Wow, you received a total of $6500 from Tesla? All I got for my FS was a $2500 Shop Voucher ?

For folks who have owned a Foundation Series Cyber Beast for >6 months: if your truck was totaled (and you wanted to replace it with another CT) which build options would you go with this time around? Core wheels? Grey interior? AWD?
Being a long time 4x4 driver, I'm never going back to gas/diesel, here is my experience.....

I drive in Beast mode 95% of the time, unless the winter conditions require some extra care. Just like with my M3P, it never gets old. Now that I hear some of the noise and suspension issues versus AWD, it does make me a bit disappointed the Beast comes with some downside, but I think it's worth the trade off.

I've had loaner M3 and MY. The Model Y were standard long range, the M3 even had acceleration boost. As I pressed the pedals on the loaners, my mind immediately started to think there was something wrong with these wimpy vehicles. I am so accustomed to the power, everything else feels laughable. Unfortunately, my future vehicles all will need to have 0-60 in 3 seconds or less, I can't go back. Unless I wanted to fall asleep at the wheel, I couldn't get the AWD.

EDIT: I looked after my post, and saw the M3 I drove with acceleration boost has a 3.7 second 0-60. This was frustrating me when I had it as a loaner. AWD CT has 3.9 second 0-60. Nope. Couldn't do it.

I would totally buy the CB again. Maybe not so much the foundation series. If Tesla gave more options like lifetime supercharging and other options that is not optional to non-foundation ones I would get the FS again. As for me I got the grey interior and AT tires. I would stick with the grey but probably go with the core wheels for more range and comfort.

Foundation Cyberbeast again all the way. The only thing I might do different is not having the white interior but I also like it a lot too. I just wonder what has changed since early production vehicles.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The AWD CT is not worth the money. Coming from a Lightning, the Beast is a step up premium experience. If you get the AWD, you're better off spending less and getting a Lightning.

If i did it all over again I would get another Beast. If I wanted to be cheap, I'd get a Lightning. If I owned an AWD CT, I'd be ashamed I didn't spend a bit more or a lot less.
I have an opposite take on this. I couldn't justify spending an extra 35k for a 3rd motor.

Yes, we placed our order in March 2024 and got the power share/charging station with install. From my perspective, it’s the best incentive Tesla has offered thus far. We have solar to the supercharging isn’t compelling.
