After .33.15 I noticed the truck has a harder time recognizing traffic has stopped or slowed significantly on the highway in front of me - I hit the brakes several times when my senses told me it was going to just plow into the slowed/stopped cars ahead. I don’t think it’s me being conservative, I just don’t think the truck looks far enough forward to see this happening when it’s doing 65.

Also, it made one quick lane change without signal when there were some skid marks on the road in front - I think it “saw” and obstacle and avoided it.

Finally, it did go off road (to the left) when I was on a sweeping right freeway on ramp with no traffic - I was pushing the accelerator to like 40 when it wanted to go 25 but still it just didn’t hold the line when it easily and comfortably could have.
I have seen the braking issue with 33.15 and I don't remember that happening previously. Had to hit the brakes once or twice because the traffic ahead of me, not far ahead at all, but just "ahead", was braking hard and the Cybertruck was acting like it didn't see it. I would typically wait until the last second to see if the truck figured it out, but there were people behind me and I didn't want to brake-check them, especially given the lack of visibility through the CT from behind.

Also have had a couple times when the truck came in pretty hot to an off-ramp where it faded to the outside of the turn and caught itself at the last minute and jerked the wheel back to the right to get back in line. The ironic/annoying thing is that after cooking the off-ramp faster than I would normally go, when it goes to merge into traffic, it drops to the speed limit, which is 10mph under the prevailing speed, so I have to take over to avoid getting rear-ended. Truck should definitely be able to see the oncoming traffic through the rear repeater camera and be able to speed up but it just trundles along blindly like Mr. Magoo, oblivious to the traffic going around me on the left because I'm blocking the right lane.

Having same experience. Truck definitely seems to want to rear-end someone...

I have issues with it stopping rather hard behind a car approaching traffic stop and then it still doesn’t go the speed limit in some areas. Turning and roundabout seem to make the steering wheel jittery

FSD does not use the rear repeater camera. Think about what it would do if you have the tailgate down. It uses the side repeater cameras.

That's what I meant - the side cameras pointed backwards (on the fender) versus the side cameras on the B-pillars facing forwards.

I get the “degraded” message any time, rain or not, when I’m on a road with tall trees on either side. I think the AI is troubled by not seeing the sharp lines of buildings. Of course I happen to live in a forest.
I don’t think it looks too far beyond the edge of the road. It’s already processing quite a bit of information. There’s not a lot of room for processing objects or structures beyond the roadway. I have been on over a thousand miles of varied roads in FSD including forest, canyon, rock cliff, river, urban, even several roads with no lines at all etc and only seen the degraded message during wet weather. Maybe your cameras are dirty.

I'm currently running 33.15 - did a short drive yesterday
- No rear-ending issues
- No lane issues
- It went above the speed limit on the street I was on to go with the flow of traffic
- When a vehicle was turning in front of me, it changed lanes to go past it like I would.

Will test it some more this week I'm sure.

I'm getting this in my latest release. I have a lot of school buses that stop in the middle of a two lane highway in the morning and the CT just barrels in full speed despite all the read brake lights and decides to brake at the last minute. As soon as things get wet or icy, someone using this version of FSD is going to be in a rear-end accident. Very unique behavior in this release compared to the past, so it really caught me off guard! I've been using FSD since the first beta.

I am finding on the speed control that if i am on a road with other traffic, it adjusts and drives as I would (over or under limit). if I am on a posted 55mph road and there are no other cars then it seems to want to Toodle along at 45mph, so I have to accelerate between each corner to get it to pick up speed. Its everyday on the same roads to and from my work and has been with both 12.5.5 and 12.5.5.2

So is this new version actually coming out this week? Also, I thought I saw 38.4 is supposed to have Sentry power savings features but only for CT. I didn't realize CT's are on the .38 branch at all.

I got 12.5.6.1 on my Model X coming out of the weekend. I drive 12.5.5.2 on my cybertruck. The 12.5.6 build fixes a lot of the issues that were shared between the two builds. Also, the new speed offset on the highway is very interesting. Had to tone it down from max. Had me going 75 in 55 at one point.

I don't see the left-side hugging so much. What I see more of, and where I'd love to see improvement, is on small back roads, especially with no center line.

The typical human driver is going to cheat toward the center of the road when there's no traffic, and then move toward the right when other cars are present or when going up a hill or around a bend.

Right now, the CT divides a back road into left and right sides and with great determination stays on the right side. Even if that means getting extremely close to the rough edge of the road. I've had my CT touch the right edge multiple times, meaning the tire is potentially straying onto the ditch or dirt off-road.
for me, every left-hand turn, onto an unmarked road is uncomfortable due to left-hugging. I disengage because, while it won’t hit oncoming traffic, it’s still WTF to the other driver AND myself.

It's probably just the different steering geometry of the Cybertruck, and I'm sure it will be improved in short order. Tesla probably just needs to tweak the steering outputs from what the model is telling the car to do.

That being said, it's not something I've experienced. I have more of a problem with driving too close to the right side and the truck being too conservative with speed. (The speed issue will likely be fixed soon with selectable driving profiles, and the right-side issue will probably be fixed over time with additional training.)
