FSD 14.2.1 parked head in for me today in a gravel unmarked parking lot. It parked next to an existing vehicle and stopped a couple feet back from the railroad tie that denotes the end of the parking space. I was duly impressed.

FSD since 13 has had an annoying issue with reading the highway # sign (60) as the speed limit sign (65). That means when it sees the speed limit, it goes 65 or above depending on speed profile, then sees the hiway # sign and immediately drops 5 mile an hour from speed, then sees the next speed limit sign and speeds up 5 mile and hour, it's up and down like this for miles. Stupid annoying problem. I do a "bug report" on most occurrences, but I don't disengage FSD so I can't do the actual problem report. So far none of the 14 revs are fixed yet with this bug.

check on Google maps. my address showed as being in my neighbor's house. I sent in a correction, a few days later Google accepted it. now just waiting for the next navigation data update. then i'll be able to park in my own driveway... It parked just fine in my neighbors.

Google Maps has it correctly, for some strange reason the Tesla app shows it split down my driveway. It's no big deal for me. What caught us onto it was that it kept turning the Sentry on in my wife's MY when we have it turned off while at home.

Glad to see I'm not the only one frustrated by the speed limit problems. It will either go 53 in a 60 on hurry mode or 70 on Mad Max. There's no in-between because it thinks the speed limit is 45. Super frustrating. I sent Tesla dozens of messages, so hopefully, along with this forum, they will pay attention and fix this issue.
Yeah, the prev control was so good got really accustomed to it.

So far after two nighttime brief drives I haven't had phantom braking on 14.2.1. The speed profiles of standard and hurry seem to avoid the left lane. However, mad max is much more aggressive than hurry on this build than prior. It is more agreesive by a little than prior Mad Max to IMHO. Overall so much better than 13.

I am unable to get it to park in my garage, on arrival it attempts to pull in my driveway facing forward, so I have to turn off FSD, then put the car in reverse and start FSD once again, at that point it will back in the driveway, but in the options, I only have Driveway, Curbside, and Parking Lot.

Anyone else have any success in getting the Cybertruck to actually fully reverse into the garage completely with this new release?

I personally had a few close calls when I let FSD do the parking so now I disengage FSD every time I get to my destination. With that being said, I saw another CT owner on social media that had some luck earlier in parking his vehicle in his garage but on his last post his CT got too closed to the side of the garage and scraped it. 😱

Concerning maps and routing -
Using V13 a delivered, l entered an address for my condo/marina using routing/mapping software.
Had no issues.
With V14 updates of l select this lab we led address as a destination nav initially shows a route to the entrance then when approaching the entrance it reroutes me to a business across the street.
Seems that somewhere there is a map datum issue in the stack.

I just had an interesting FSD interaction (FSD 14.2.1, installed a couple of days ago). I encountered a pickup truck, with a lady standing outside the passenger door, and a man on a bike on the sidewalk opposite the driver's side that you don't see in the clip. I was in FSD patiently waiting for something to happen. I was about to disengage when both the lady and the man on the bike motioned me to go around them. Before I could disengage, FSD snapped into action and went around the truck, and made the left turn. Video from the dashcam posted below. (there are a couple of short glitches in the video, maybe from saving it from the dashcam viewer in the mobile app).

Couple things:

1. I had a phantom braking episode at night again tonight. 1st with 14.2.1. Only thing they all have in common is parts of road where trees overhang the road.

2. As far as map issues go: if the truck consistently is missing a destination it used to get to try changing the parking option at arrival. Maybe it is choosing a parking spot in nearest parking lot but would be fine if you chose curbside instead for the destination.

One of my CB on V14.2.1 has been MSU (Making Shit Up) while navigating. The navigation would show the usual route on the display but the darn AI controlling my FSD decides otherwise. In two separate occasions, FSDing out of my gyms parking lot to go home, instead of following the navigation's prompt, FSD decided to go across the street and turn into Dutch Bros' drive through lane. Wtf, I don't even like DB:sick:

An observation with 150 miles in the dark: I had no takeovers, completely on FSD the whole drive. When on roads with no traffic, speed limit 65, FSD stayed at 55 - yes it was dark and wet and a cold 26*. I switched to hurry and then mad max. I gave each about 20 seconds to see if it would go faster, but nope. Went back to standard and decided to give a little pedal to speed it up. But then two cars passed me on the left- all of a sudden FSD woke up and sped up to 70.

Was able to repeat the same thing multiple times - so I guess FSD prioritizes keeping up with traffic more than anything else? And second might be posted speeds unless it determines it’s no needed?

Also noticed now that if someone is pulling up to you from behind pretty fast, it will change lanes to let them pass and then back to the lane it was in.

Finally, just installed 2025.38.9.6 last night. Wife will drive the CT tomorrow to her office, will see how the FSD 14.2.1 handles.
